Details of installation of assembly of the module of the ABS management/hydromodulator
REMOVAL
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 2. For the purpose of ensuring access remove an air inlet (see the Section Service of Components of an inlet air path of the Head of the Cooling system, heating). 3. Having blown in the module the management/hydromodulator compressed air, completely remove from it all traces of moisture for the purpose of providing a quality assurance of contact electric connections.

4. Extend outside the fixing lock and disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring of the module of the management/hydromodulator.

5. Disconnect brake tubes from assembly of the hydromodulator, - wrap up the ends of the disconnected tubes polyethylene for the purpose of prevention of risk of hit of brake fluid on the painted body surfaces. 6. Disconnect the tire of grounding of assembly of the module of the management/hydromodulator from a basic arm. 7. Give fixing nuts and take assembly of the module of the ABS management/hydromodulator from a motive compartment. |

INSTALLATION
|

When replacing assembly of the module of the management/hydromodulator track compliance of marking of the replaceable block to car type! |
1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort (18 Nanometers: nuts of fastening of assembly, 32 Nanometers: the grounding tire plug on a basic arm, 15 Nanometers: nuts of nipple sockets of brake tubes. 2. A suitable bandage record a plait of the electrical wiring brought to assembly on a basic arm. 3. Connect an electrical wiring to the module, - track reliability of fixing of the contact socket the special lock. 4. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. 5. In summary pump over brake system (see the Section Pumping of a Hydraulic Path of Brake System). |

Make sure of compliance of marking of the block of the module of the management/hydromodulator to car type (see Specifications), - marking is put from above on the hydromodulator case. |

Check of serviceability of functioning of the hydromodulator by means of manometers
|
|
It is necessary to use only special manometers intended for measurement of pressure of brake fluid! Use of the manometer which was earlier used for measurement of pressure of transmission liquid is fraught with violation of serviceability of functioning of wheel cylinders as a result of swelling of cuffs of pistons! |
1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props and remove wheels. 2. Turn out gates of pumping of supports of brake mechanisms of forward wheels. 3. Connect to supports of forward wheels manometers (see the prevention at the beginning of subsection) and remove from them air. 4. Execute check of sequence of operation of valves of the hydromodulator (see the Section Check of Sequence of Operation of Valves of the ABS Hydromodulator). 5. After started functioning of the hydromodulator anew there is a dumping of pressure, deduction and forcing in a contour of the brake mechanism of the left forward wheel, then (in the same order) - right. 6. Consider indications of measuring instruments and make sure that fluctuations of pressure between phases of dumping and forcing of pressure do not exceed the limit of admissible ranges (see Specifications). 7. Disconnect manometers and screw gates of pumping of supports on the places, pump over hydraulic contours of forward wheel cylinders (see the Section Pumping of a Hydraulic Path of Brake System). 8. Turn out gates of pumping of supports of brake mechanisms of back wheels and connect to supports manometers (see the prevention at the beginning of subsection). 9. Remove air from manometers and repeat check (at first on right, then on left brake mechanisms). 10. Disconnect manometers, install into place gates and pump over brake mechanisms (see the Section Pumping of a Hydraulic Path of Brake System). |

Check of serviceability of functioning of the hydromodulator at the test bench

1. On the all-wheel drive (AWD) models equipped with AT install a spare safety lock with the FWD socket in the main assembly block of safety locks for the purpose of simulation of conditions of check of the front-wheel (FWD) car.

2. Prepare for check of sequence of operation of valves of the hydromodulator (see the Section Check of Sequence of Operation of Valves of the ABS Hydromodulator). 3. Tire out the car forward wheels on drums of the test bench and transfer the selector lever to neutral situation. 4. Start the stand and make check of sequence of operation of valves of the hydromodulator (see the Section Check of Sequence of Operation of Valves of the ABS Hydromodulator). 5. At first there has to be a consecutive change of phases of a running cycle (dumping - deduction - forcing of pressure) the brake mechanism of the left forward wheel, then - right forward, further - right back and, at last, - left back (the car should be rolled back wheels on drums of the stand. 6. Reading out indications of the stand make sure that fluctuations of indications between phases of dumping and forcing of pressure do not exceed the limit of admissible ranges (see Specifications). 7. Having finished check, make sure of absence of feeling of the hard course of a brake pedal. |
