Removal, installation, check of a state and adjustment of components of the antiretractable device

REMOVAL

Valve of deduction of pressure (PHV)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Pump out hydraulic liquid from the GTTs tank.
2. Execute procedures of paragraphs with 2 under 6 of the Section Removal, service, installation and adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake.
3. Disconnect brake tubes from the PHV valve, - try not to allow hits of brake fluid on the painted body surfaces, in case of need at once collect the spilled liquid paper towels.

 Otpuskaniye of nipple nuts should be made by means of a special cap key with a cutting head!


4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the PHV valve assembled with a basic arm from a lateral beam.

 Try not to allow hits in valvate assembly of foreign particles!

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a cable from the PHV valve (see the Section Removal, service, installation and adjustment of a pedal of a foot brake).
2. Remove a coupling pedal (see the Head Stsepleniye).
3. Disconnect a cable from a pedal of coupling and remove it from the car.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of protective covers, a cover and the core of a driving cable, estimate freedom of the course of hummock assembly. Estimate degree of wear of a returnable spring, check it for existence of signs of development of corrosion and mechanical damages.
2. Shake the valve, - the sound of rolling of a ball confirms serviceability of a condition of assembly. Manually check smoothness of rotation of the lever.

 The PHV valve is not subject to recovery repair and in case of failure is replaced assembled!

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the PHV valve on the regular place on a lateral beam. Also tighten fixing bolts with the demanded effort (18 Nanometers). Connect hydraulic tubes to the valve, - cap nuts of nipple connections are tightened with effort of 15 Nanometers.

 Try not to deform tubes in the course of their connection, in case of need replace the damaged sections.

2. Connect a driving cable to the executive lever of the valve, - in case of need replace the damaged clamps.

 Do not allow bending of a cable under excessive corners! Previously grease Zatsepny part of a returnable spring and a point of fastening of a cable on the executive lever of the valve with SUNLIGHT 2 greasing (No. 003602010).

3. Pump over brake system (see the Section Pumping of a Hydraulic Path of Brake System). In case of need make adjustment of a driving cable of PHV (see below).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 The damaged cable is subject to replacement without fail.

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - do not allow bending of a cable under excessive corners. Zatsepna previously grease the end of a returnable spring and a point of fastening of a cable on the executive lever of the valve with SUNLIGHT 2 greasing (No. 003602010).
2. In case of need make adjustment of a driving cable of PHV (see below).

ADJUSTMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Before starting adjustment of the replaced cable of the PHV drive squeeze out a coupling pedal about 30 times.

1. Drive away the car on the road going uphill and check serviceability of functioning of the antiretractable device (see the Section Antiretractable system - the device, the principle of functioning and a precautionary measure). If the car does not stop, tighten adjusting cable nuts.
2. Violation of serviceability of start-off of the car can speak one of two reasons:

a) Otpuskaniye of the antiretractable device occurs earlier, than coupling (the engine starts becoming deaf) is activated, - gradually release an adjusting nut and repeat check until achieve satisfactory result;
b) Otpuskaniye of the antiretractable device occurs later, than coupling (the car slightly slides off down) is activated, - tighten a nut before emergence of the signs described in point (and), then, gradually releasing a nut, achieve the demanded result.
3. Having finished adjustment, tighten a lock-nut with the demanded effort (3.4 Nanometers).
