 Existence on the car of antiretractable system does not exempt the driver from need of use of the foot and parking brake at stops on the sites of the road going uphill!


The antiretractable system facilitates procedure of start-off of the car standing on rise, providing smoothness of a start of motion even at management of the vehicle of the inexperienced driver.

The scheme of the organization of antiretractable system is submitted on an illustration.

At a certain steepness of rise when the driver at the squeezed-out coupling starts releasing a pedal of a foot brake antiretractable system continues to keep pressure in brake contours, preventing a car otkatyvaniye back that allows the driver to set the vehicle in motion in a usual manner, without caring of keeping by its brakes.

Valve of deduction of pressure (PHV)

The line connecting GTTs to the hydromodulator of anti-blocking system (ABS) switched on the special valve of deduction of pressure (PHV). The valve is equipped with the camshaft rotating in both directions at turn of the coupling of the executive lever connected to a pedal.

At the switched-off coupling (the pedal is squeezed out) the pusher of the valve is wrung out by a spring to the right.

Deployment of the clown of a camshaft at an otpuskaniye of a pedal of coupling brings to push-up of a pusher with overcoming of the effort developed by a returnable spring to the left. Is more left than a pusher rod in the directing channel of valvate assembly equipped with a saddle the ball is located. When the car holds horizontal position, or is inclined forward, the ball is in the left (forward) end of the directing channel. At entrance on rise, a ball under the influence of gravitation it is rolled away back, nestling on a saddle until the pedal of coupling is not released and the rod of a pusher will not be displaced to the left.

During a stop on rise the driver holds squeezed out both pedals (a foot brake and coupling), thus the ball in the directing channel holds extreme right position, nestling on a saddle of the valve and blocking a stream of hydraulic liquid to the main cylinder. Before a start of motion the driver releases a pedal of a foot brake, continuing to hold a pedal of coupling squeezed out, however pressure brake contours continues to remain due to trim by their ball valve. Further the driver can start releasing coupling with simultaneous squeezing of gas as does it at a start of motion on the equal road, - rotation of a camshaft will lead to opening of the PHV valve and an otpuskaniye of brakes.

 It is necessary to remember that activation of antiretractable system happens only at the squeezed-out coupling pedal.


 Repeated squeezing of a pedal of coupling after its partial otpuskaniye (for example, at refusal of attempt of a start of motion or switching of transfer on lower) will not provide return of PHV to the locked state, - for reactivation of system it is necessary to squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake again! It is also necessary to mean that the effect of braking remains at a coupling otpuskaniye after the movement of the car a backing at the squeezed-out both pedals. The start of motion the forward course after the movement by the back can be followed by easy breakthrough.
