Electric equipment of the engine General information Components of systems of ignition, charge and start are a part of electric equipment of the engine. In view of the fact that these systems have a direct bearing on operation of the engine, they are considered separately from other onboard electric equipment (such as signal and lighting lights, monitors, etc.), the Head Onboard electric equipment is devoted to placement, a design and which principles of functioning. Control of functioning of system of ignition is exercised under control of ECM, - the principles of functioning of a control system of the engine are considered in the Head of the Power supply system and release.In order to avoid risk of failure of semiconductor elements, and also for the purpose of prevention of receiving eletkrotravm, at service of components of systems of electric equipment it is necessary to observe special precautionary measures. Remember that the generator and a starter are directly connected to the battery and in case of an overload or short circuit can become a cause of the fire. Performing works on service of the components located in a motive compartment, try not to touch moving elements (a krylchatka of the fan, driving belts, etc.), take away hair, clasp working clothes on all buttons. Starting service of electric equipment, surely remove a watch, rings and other metal jewelry. Do not allow violation of polarity at connection of the battery.
