Be careful, - try not to burn about hot surfaces of the engine, heated-up up to the normal working temperature! |
1. In systems of direct ignition (DIS) the corner of an advancing of ignition is exposed automatically and to adjustment is not subject, however in case of need installation of a corner can be checked.
2. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
3. Working according to instructions of manufacturers, connect a stroboscope to VV to a wire of a spark plug of the first cylinder.

4. Start the engine on single turns. Tracking of frequency of rotation of the engine can be made both on built in a combination of devices, and on remotely connected, - act according to instructions of manufacturers, - to a tachometer. Highlighting a stroboscope an adjusting scale, determine value of a corner of an advancing of ignition by location of a basic tag. Compare results of measurement to the data provided in Specifications. At negative results of check it is necessary to make testing of a control system of the engine. |

6-cylinder models

1. Before starting performance of procedure estimate a condition of the filtering element of the air cleaner and spark plugs, check correctness of connection of vacuum hoses and make sure that the control lamp of refusals does not burn (MIL/" check the engine").
2. Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature, then muffle.
3. Fill a cartridge in the firm reader Subaru (SSM), then connect the device to the diagnostic DLC socket located at the left under the dashboard.
4. Turn a key in the ignition lock in the situation "ON" and include food of SSM.
5. Choose in the main menu (Main Menu) of the reader point { 2. Each System Check }, then pass into a bookmark {Engine Control System} and further: { 1. Current Data Display & Save } and { 1.12 Data Display }.
6. Start the engine on single turns (tracking of frequency of rotation of the engine can be made both on built in a combination of devices, and on remotely connected tachometer) and check value of a corner of an advancing of ignition. Compare results of measurement to the data provided in Specifications (10 ° ± 3 ° before VMT at 600 rpm). At negative results of check it is necessary to make testing of systems |
