Power supply system and release

General information

Due to the continuous toughening of the international requirements for environmental protection producers of cars are compelled to pay the increasing attention to ecological safety to production released by them. Transition from carburetor fuel supply systems to the electronic systems of injection allowing to exercise thinner control of a dosage of gas mixture at continuous control of structure of products of combustion became a decisive step in the solution of this problem.

Continuously improved electronic control systems of modern engines carry out such functions as configuration of composition of air and fuel mix, management of the moments of injection and ignition and control of composition of the fulfilled gases. Due to continuous updating of the introduction data arriving from a number of information sensors, and the organization of a contour of feedback (on composition of the fulfilled gases) the electronic control unit (ECM) exercises continuous control of functioning of the power unit and due to introduction of necessary adjustments provides maximum efficiency of return of the engine at a minimum level of environmental pollution, regardless of continuously changing vehicle service conditions. Inclusion in structure of a control system of a contour of self-diagnostics provides the increased reliability of functioning of all its knots and components.

Considering told, it is possible to break conditionally an engine control system into some subsystems, namely: the system of injection of fuel uniting in itself functions of configuration of air and fuel mix, a dosage and its introduction to engine combustion chambers, system of ignition and system of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases.

The system of ignition, together with systems of start and a charge, is considered in the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine, devoted to electric equipment of the engine.

Within this Chapter design features and the principle of functioning of systems of injection and management of engine/decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases are in detail considered, besides, the system of production of the fulfilled gases is included here.
