Check of valvate gaps
Preparation
|
1. Tire out the car on the elevator.
|
2. Lift the car and remove protection of a case. |
3. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 4. Lower the car on the earth. |

L engines 2.0 and 2.5
Right head of cylinders (cylinders No. No. 1 and 3)
|
|
1. Remove the left cover of the GRM drive. |
|
2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a bell of an air inlet to the front panel. Remove an air inlet. |
3. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove a rezonatorny chamber of an inlet air path. 4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from spark plugs of cylinders No. No. 1 and 3. 5. Disconnect a hose of system of ventilation of a case (PCV) from a cover of the right head of cylinders. 6. Turn out fixing bolts and uncover the right head. |

Left head of cylinders (cylinders No. No. 2 and 4)
|
|
1. Remove the battery with the holder. |
|
2. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the tank of liquid of washing of glasses. |
|
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from pumps of supply of the washing liquid. |
|
4. Remove the tank and take it aside. |
5. Disconnect PCV hose about covers of the left head of cylinders. 6. Turn out fixing bolts and uncover the left head of cylinders. |
|
Engines of 3.0 l
Right head of cylinders
|
1. Remove the air cleaner with an air inlet sleeve. 2. Take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (see the Section Replacement of Belts of the Drive of Auxiliary Units and replacement).
|
3. Release a hose of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (GUR) from a basic arm. |
|
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of an arm of the steering pump. |
|
5. Having pulled up, remove the GUR liquid tank from a basic arm. |
|
6. Without disconnecting from it hydraulic lines, take the steering pump aside and lay on a mudguard of the right wing, previously having spread rags. |
|
7. Remove the screen of protection of the right branch of a fuel path. |
|
8. Disconnect an electrical wiring from fuel injectors. |
|
9. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring forward a lambda probe. |
|
10. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch of pressure of motive oil.

11. Remove ignition coils. |

Left head of cylinders
|
1. Remove the battery.
|
2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the tank of liquid of washing of glasses. |
|
3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from pumps of supply of the washing liquid. |
|
4. Remove and put aside the tank of liquid of washing of glasses. |
|
5. Disconnect hoses of system of ventilation of a case (PCV) and a purge from a cover of the left head of cylinders. |
|
6. Remove the screen of protection of the right branch of a fuel path. |
|
7. Disconnect an electrical wiring from fuel injectors and forward a lambda probe. |
8. Remove ignition coils. 9. Uncover the right head of cylinders. |
|
Measurement of valvate gaps
L engines 2.0 and 2.5
|
|
1. For reduction of the engine in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder arm with a special head (ST 499977300 [model of 2.0 l] / with ST 499977100 [model of 2.5 l]) and turn a cranked shaft clockwise so that the cogwheel of the left camshaft was developed by the strelochny marking applied on it up.

2. By means of the probe of lezviyny type (A) measure the size of gaps of valves of the first cylinder, - watch that the edge of the probe was entered parallel to face a valve core. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Head Dvigatel).

The size of a gap of the final valve is made on the car lifted over the earth. |
|
|
3. Working in a similar manner, perform measurement of gaps of valves of the remained cylinders as 3 — 2 — 4, - every time turn a cranked shaft on 90 ° clockwise for the purpose of reduction of the corresponding piston in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression. |
|
|
Engines of 3.0 l
|
|
1. By means of the special ST 18252AA000 tool turn a cranked shaft clockwise so that cams of camshafts of the drive of the corresponding valves were developed by heels to adjusting washers of valvate gaps, and working ledges outside.
|
|
2. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure the size of valvate gaps of inlet and final valves, - watch that the edge of the probe was entered parallel to a surface of an adjusting washer. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need make the corresponding adjustments by selection of adjusting washers (see the Head Dvigatel). |
3. Working in a similar manner, check gaps of valves of the remained cylinders, - turn a cranked shaft only in the direction clockwise. |

|
Having finished check/adjustment, establish into place all removed components - act as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle (fixture tighten with the demanded effort). |
