The recommended greasings and liquids

 The greasings and liquids recommended for use of cars by the company manufacturer at the time of drawing up the present manual are listed below. Fresher information can be received at firm car repair shops of the Subaru company.

Models with the catalytic converter Unleaded gasoline with octane number is not lower than 95 (AI)
Models without catalytic converter Gasoline with octane number is not lower than 90 (AI)
Motive oil
Type Universal engine oil for petrol engines of the class SH or SJ on classification of API, with marking of "ENERGY CONSERVING II" (Energy saving II), - if it is impossible to get SH or SJ, class SG oil use, or G4 or G5 on classification of CCMC, or A1, A2, A3 on classifications of ACEA, and also other oils on condition of existence on packing of a new certification mark of API - "Starburst" is allowed.
Viscosity 5W/30 for a frigid climate, 10W/40 (10W/30) for temperate and hot climate.

 At operation of the car in areas with an arid climate and high temperature or in other intense conditions oil for petrol engines of the class SH or SJ on API with number of viscosity on 30, 40, 10W-50, 20W-40 or 20W-50 on SAE has to be used.
