1. Protective covers serve for prevention of hit of dirt in the hinges of equal angular speeds (HEAS) of power shafts of the car, and also hold the greasing filled in hinges. Hit of greasing and oil on external surfaces of protective covers leads to a premature exit them out of operation in view of what covers should be examined periodically and carefully to wash out solution of soap water.
2. Having cleared covers, check them for existence of cracks, cuts and traces of leak of greasing. Defective covers are subject to replacement (see the Head Stsepleniye). Estimate reliability of a tightening of bandage tapes of fastening of covers.
3. Check the driveshaft for existence of damages. At detection of malfunctions, replace it with the new. |
