Replacement of brake liquid / pumping of a hydraulic path

Sequence of pumping

1 — the Brake mechanism of the right forward wheel
2 — the Brake mechanism of the left back wheel
3 — the Brake mechanism of the left forward wheel

4 — the Brake mechanism of the right back wheel
5 — the GTTs Secondary camera
6 — the GTTs Primary camera


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Performance of this procedure will require the help of the assistant, or it is necessary to get a special set for pumping of brake system by forces of one person - ask in shops of automobile accessories.

1. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
2. Remove all wheels.
3. By means of a syringe or a rubber pear pump out brake fluid from the tank of the main brake cylinder (MBC).
4. Fill in fresh brake fluid of the demanded grade in the tank, - try not to allow hits to the brake highway of dirt.

 Mixing of hydraulic liquids of various grade is fraught with dangerous decrease in efficiency of functioning of brake system!

5. Connect one end of a vinyl tube of suitable diameter to the gate of pumping of a support of the brake mechanism of the right forward wheel, lower the second end of a tube in the drain capacity of the adequate size.

 In order to avoid hit of brake fluid on components of the brake mechanism, before an otpuskaniye wrap up the drain gate old rags.

6. Ask the assistant 2-3 times to press slowly a brake pedal, then to record it in the squeezed-out situation.
7. Release the pumping gate approximately on 1/4 turns and let out a small amount of hydraulic liquid in drain capacity, then again tighten the gate.
8. Continue to act in the manner described in two previous paragraphs until liquid, pure, transparent, free from air bubbles, does not start following from a tube.

 Do not forget to watch liquid level in the GTTs tank, without allowing its excessive lowering, - in time add fresh liquid!

9. Having finished pumping, tighten the gate with the demanded effort at the pressed pedal of a foot brake.
10. Working in a similar manner, in strictly certain order consistently pump over brake mechanisms of the remained wheels and both GTTs cameras.
11. In summary, squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake with effort about 30 kgfs and, holding its pressed within about 20 seconds, make sure of lack of an excessive side play of a pedal, then examine gates of pumping of brake mechanisms, GTTs and all nipple sockets of a hydraulic path on existence of signs of development of leaks. In case of need make the corresponding corrections / replace defective components.
12. Establish to the place of a wheel, lower the car on the earth during short (2-3 km) trips check serviceability of functioning of brake system.
