Removal, installation and check of a condition of the sensor of the speed (VSS)
REMOVAL

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props.
3. Remove a collector with its receiver.
4. Separate the VSS socket.

INSTALLATION
|
|
|
|
The removed VSS is subject to replacement without fail. Before installation make sure of purity of an opening under landing of the sensor. Track correctness of combination of the thin end of a spline with a shponochny groove on a speedometer shaft pin. |
1. Manually screw VSS in a landing opening, then tighten it with the demanded effort (5.9 Nanometers).
2. Connect the contact socket of an electrical wiring of the sensor.
3. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. |

CHECK
|
|
1. Make sure of serviceability of functioning of a speedometer. At positive results of check pass to the following stage, otherwise measure speedometer resistance. The result of measurement between sinus and cosine plugs has to make 208 ± 8 Ohms, otherwise follows will replace the fan and assembly from a fuel consumption measuring instrument. If a speedometer as it should be, replace the printed-circuit board of a combination of devices.

2. Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug No. 24 of the contact ECM (B135) socket and the plug No. 13 of the contact socket of a combination of devices (i10). If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, replace the ECM socket, otherwise eliminate break of an electrical wiring or violation of quality of contact connections in B135/B36 sockets.
