Removal, service and installation of interaxal differential

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of RKPP (see the Section Removal and installation of transmission assembly).
2. Remove assembly of a transfer case with transmission lengthening (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
3. Remove lengthening of transmission from a transfer case (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
4. Take the conducted gear wheel of the distributing mechanism (see the Section Removal, service and installation of the conducted gear wheel of the distributing mechanism)
5. Take assembly of interaxal differential.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease bearings and manually estimate smoothness and noiselessness of their rotation, check bearings for existence of signs of excessive wear, corrosion development traces. Replace defective components.
2. Estimate degree of wear of components of differential, replace defective assembly.

Replacement of the bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 The interaxal differential is not subject to dismantling and in case of damage of internal components is replaced assembled.


1. By means of the special ST 498077300 adaptation remove the ball bearing of interaxal differential.

 The removed bearing is not subject to a reuse and has to is replaced without fail!

2. Landing of the new bearing is made by means of a suitable mandrel.

 The enclosed landing effort should not exceed 10 kN (1 ton)!

INSTALLATION

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
