1. Remove assembly of RKPP (see the Section Removal and installation of transmission assembly).
2. Remove sensors switches of fires of a backing and the neutral provision of transmission (see the Section Removal, installation and check of a condition of sensors switches).
3. Remove assembly of a transfer case with transmission lengthening (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
4. Remove lengthening of transmission from a transfer case (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
5. Take the conducted gear wheel of the distributing mechanism (see the Section Removal, service and installation of the conducted gear wheel of the distributing mechanism).

6. Remove the leading gear wheel of the distributing mechanism.

1. Grease bearings and manually estimate smoothness and noiselessness of their rotation, check bearings for existence of signs of excessive wear, corrosion development traces. Replace defective components.
2. Check a condition of lateral surfaces of teeths and a shaft of the leading gear wheel. In case of identification of mechanical damages or signs of excessive wear replace a gear wheel.

3. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure a gap between a lock ring and an internal holder of the ball bearing. If the result of measurement does not meet standard requirements (001 ÷ 0.15), pick up a suitable replaceable lock ring.

4. Put a lock ring on a shaft of the leading gear wheel.
5. Check gap size between a lock ring and an internal holder of the ball bearing, in case of need make selection of a new ring.

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Tighten bolts of fastening of the leading gear wheel of a transfer case with the demanded effort (26 Nanometers).
