Subaru Legacy/Outback

1. Remove assembly of RKPP (see the Section Removal and installation of transmission assembly).
2. Remove sensors switches of fires of a backing and the neutral provision of transmission (see the Section Removal, installation and check of a condition of sensors switches).
3. Remove assembly of a transfer case with transmission lengthening (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
4. Remove lengthening of transmission from a transfer case (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).

5. Take the conducted gear wheel of the distributing mechanism.

6. Remove cups of bearings of cases of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission. A — a transmission lengthening case bearing Cup B — the Cup of the bearing of a case of a transfer case

1. Grease bearings and manually estimate smoothness and noiselessness of their rotation, check bearings for existence of signs of excessive wear, corrosion development traces. Replace defective components.
2. Check a condition of lateral surfaces of teeths and a shaft of the conducted gear wheel. In case of identification of mechanical damages or signs of excessive wear replace a gear wheel.

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
