Removal, service, installation and adjustment of assembly of the mechanism of blocking of inclusion of a reverse gear

Detailed descriptions of the device and the principle of functioning of the lock it is provided in the Section Mechanism of Blocking of Inclusion of a Reverse Gear - the device and the principle of functioning.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of RKPP (see the Section Removal and installation of transmission assembly).
2. Remove assembly of a transfer case with transmission lengthening (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
3. Remove the switching mechanism lever (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).

4. Turn out a lateral stopper, remove a spring washer and take a lock ball.

5. Remove the coupling of blocking of inclusion of a reverse gear.

DISMANTLING

Removal of components of the coupling of blocking of inclusion of a reverse gear

A — the Persistent plate
B — a cam Spring
With — the Returnable spring 5-y/back transfers
D — the Cam

E — a cam Axis
F — the Cap of a returnable spring
G — the Returnable spring of 1/2 transfers

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cover blocking assembly with rags and by means of a screw-driver take a spring lock ring.

The weakened or deformed ring is subject to replacement.

2. Take internal components of the blocking mechanism.
3. Remove a sealing ring, - try not to scratch a ring at removal, otherwise it has to be replaced.

Try not to break the adjusting washer established between a sleeve of the blocking mechanism and a case!

ASSEMBLY

Installation of components of the coupling of blocking of inclusion of a reverse gear in a sleeve

A — the Sleeve
B — the Returnable spring of 1/2 transfers
With — the Cap of a returnable spring
D — a cam Axis

E — the Returnable spring 5-y/back transfers
F — the Cam
G — a cam Spring

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Fill in a sleeve a returnable spring of 1/2 transfers, a cap of a returnable spring, a cam axis, a returnable spring 5-y/back transfers and a cam spring.

Track that the bent end of a cam spring got to a reception flute of a cam.

2. Hook on a bend of a cam spring for a persistent plate.
3. Develop a cam so that its ledge entered an opening in a persistent plate. Holding a cam in this situation, put a persistent plate in a sleeve and record it a spring lock ring.
4. Fill a sealing ring in bore in a sleeve.

CHECK

Check of the course of a cam

A — the Spring lock ring
B — the Persistent plate

With — a cam Spring
D — the Cam

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure that the groove in an axis of a cam is combined with cut in a sleeve.
2. Manually check smoothness of rotation of a cam.
3. Wring out assembly of a cam until the end of their course towards a persistent plate, then release. If the cam does not come back to a place, replace its spring. If the axis does not come back, check an internal surface of a sleeve for existence of zadir and scratches. If the sleeve is in good repair, replace the corresponding returnable spring.
4. Make sure of correctness of adjustment of the blocking mechanism (see below).

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort (see Specifications and covering notes to the subsection "Removal").

ADJUSTMENT

Adjustment of neutral situation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Switch RKPP to the 3rd transfer.
2. The gear shifting lever easily has to turn towards 1/2 transfers and with effort towards a reverse gear that is explained by influence of a returnable spring in the period of against the stop lever in a stopper.
3. Make adjustment so that the lever course towards a reverse gear was a little more, the course towards 1/2 transfers.
4. Adjustment of a gap is made by selection of the adjusting washer demanded on thickness established between a sleeve of the blocking mechanism and a case, - lists of the adjusting washers and axes of cams delivered on the market are given below.

Try not to break a sealing ring at installation of an adjusting washer. At removal of a washer neutral situation is displaced towards a reverse gear, at installation - towards the 1st transfer. If one washer it appears insufficiently, replace an axis of a cam and repeat adjustment procedure.

Adjustment of a persistent plate

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the gear shifting lever in the provision of the 5th transfer, then make sure of serviceability of operation of the blocking mechanism, having tried to include a reverse gear.

2. If the gear shifting lever at its otpuskaniye does not come back from the provision of a reverse gear to neutral situation, pick up a new persistent plate a persistent plate, - see the table given below.
