Removal, installation and check of a condition of a gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of RKPP (see the Section Removal and installation of transmission assembly).
2. Remove sensors switches of fires of a backing and neutral situation RKPP (see the Section Removal, installation and check of a condition of sensors switches).
3. Remove a transfer case with the lengthening case (see the Section Removal, service and installation of a transfer case and lengthening of transmission).
4. Remove a transmission case (see the Section Removal, installation and check of a condition of a case of transmission assembly).
5. Remove the car speed sensor (see the Section Removal, installation and check of a condition of the sensor of the speed (VSS)).

6 Remove an external spring lock ring and take the conducted speedometer drive gear wheel. Further remove an epiploon, a shaft of a speedometer and a washer.

CHECK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Attentively examine the removed components on existence of signs of excessive wear and damages, replace defective details.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget to replace an epiploon.
