Module of a driver's frontal safety cushion

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring forward wheels of the car into rectilinear situation, give a ride to the car on a straight line about 5 m forward and make sure that wheels remained in rectilinear situation.
2. Make shutdown of SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).

3. By means of a key with a head of TORX T30 turn out two bolts located on each side stupichny part of a steering wheel.

4. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring of SRS from the back party of the module of a driver's frontal safety cushion and remove the last from the car.

5. Estimate a condition of the module, a plait and the contact socket of an electrical wiring and a basic arm. Replace defective components.
6. Installation is made upside-down, - try not to allow electrical wiring jammings.

Module of a passenger frontal safety cushion

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove assembly of a ware box (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring of the module of a passenger pillow and release it from a basic arm on the bearing beam.

4. Turn out three fixing bolts and accurately remove the module of a passenger frontal safety cushion.
5. Installation is made upside-down. Track that NEW bolts of fastening of the module were tightened with the demanded effort.
6. Estimate a condition of the module, a plait and the contact socket of an electrical wiring and a basic arm. Replace defective components.
7. Installation is made upside-down, - try not to allow electrical wiring jammings, track reliability of fixing of the socket.

Modules of lateral safety cushions

Modules of lateral pillows are built in in backs of forward seats and are in case of need replaced assembled with the last (see the Head Kuzov).

Main plait of an electrical wiring of SRS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of SRS.

4. Disunite contact sockets (blue color) of an electrical wiring of forward sensors of the directed overloads on assembly of the main plait of an electrical wiring.

5. Release the main plait of an electrical wiring of SRS from intermediate clamps on the bearing beam and remove it from the car.

6. Check a condition of isolation and contact sockets of a plait, replace defective components.
7. Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of intermediate clamps.

Plait of an electrical wiring of lateral safety cushions

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove forward seats (see the Head Kuzov).
3. Remove a console box (see the Head Kuzov).

4. Unbend the carpet panel of a covering of a floor and disunite two 12-contact sockets of yellow color on the module of management of SRS.

5. Release intermediate clamps and remove a plait of an electrical wiring of a lateral safety cushion.
6. Check a condition of isolation and contact sockets of a plait, replace defective components.
7. Installation is made upside-down, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of intermediate clamps.

Module of management

PERFORMANCE ORDER

At the handling of the module of management of SRS observe special precautionary measures, - try not to drop and not to allow hits on it of moisture and dust!

1. Make shutdown of SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove a console ware box (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of SRS. Working in strictly certain order turn out four TORX T40 screws of fastening of the module.

4. Estimate an external condition of the module and its basic arm, in case of need make the corresponding replacements.

Replacement of the module is made also at operation of any of safety cushions.

5. Installation is made upside-down, - track that NEW bolts of fastening of the module were tightened with the demanded effort.

Spiral contact drum

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make shutdown of SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard.

3. Disunite contact couple of AB3/AB8 of an electrical wiring of a driver's frontal safety cushion from below under a steering column.

4. Remove the module of a driver's frontal safety cushion (see above).
5. Remove a steering wheel (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).
6. Uncover a casing of a steering column.

7. Turn out fixing screws and remove a contact drum.

8. Check a condition of a drum and assembly of the combined understeering switches. Replace defective components.
9. Installation is made upside-down.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Having finished installation, make sure that forward wheels of the car are in rectilinear situation, then develop a pin of a contact drum against the stop clockwise and return back it approximately on 2.65 a turn before combination of adjusting tags (p).

Forward sensors of the directed SRS overloads

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove a front bumper (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the forward SRS sensor which is subject to removal.

4. Turn out fixing screws and remove the sensor.

5. Remove the corresponding forward wheel and a loker of protection of his arch.
6. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor of a forward safety cushion.
7. Give two fixing nuts and remove the sensor.
8. Estimate a condition of the sensor, a basic arm and the contact socket of an electrical wiring. Replace defective components.
9. Installation is made upside-down. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.

Sensors of lateral safety cushions

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove the lower panel of finishing of the corresponding lobby of a rack (see the Head Kuzov).
3. Remove external (main) section of a seat belt of the corresponding forward seat (see the Head Kuzov).

4. Remove a basic arm and a cover of a service opening.

5. By means of TORX E12 head, give two nuts and remove the sensor of a lateral safety cushion.

6. Estimate a condition of the sensor, a basic arm and the contact socket of an electrical wiring. Replace defective components.
7. Installation is made upside-down. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.

Plaits of an electrical wiring of forward SRS sensors

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Remove the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).
3. Disunite the contact socket (blue color) of an electrical wiring of the corresponding forward sensor of the directed overloads on assembly of the main plait of an electrical wiring.
4. Remove a front bumper (see the Head Kuzov).
5. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the forward SRS sensor.

6. Take the through passage directing plug and remove a sensor electrical wiring plait.

7. Estimate a condition of a plait and its contact sockets, in case of need make replacement.
8. Installation is made upside-down.

Order of utilization of not worked modules of safety cushions

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Before utilization of not worked module of a safety cushion it is necessary to make surely its discharge (see below)!

The discharge of not worked modules of safety cushions is made as it should be, similar described in the Section Seat belts - the general information, check of a state, removal and installation, an order of utilization of not worked emergency natyazhitel of the Head Kuzov for not worked emergency natyazhitel of seat belts (adjusted for points of connection of a connecting cable (No. 98299PA030).
