Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
2. Lower a steering column in extreme lower situation.
3. Disconnecting an electrical wiring, remove a forward cover of the central console and facing of the panel of switches.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove the central (console) section of finishing of the dashboard facing (peak) of an instrument guard.

5. Turn out fixing screws and remove a combination of devices, disconnect an electrical wiring.


Dismantling

 In order to avoid leaving of fingerprints on glass surfaces of dials of measuring instruments put on gloves!


Combination of usual type

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Release a latch (F) and remove from a back cover (And) a casing (In).
2. Release a latch (G) and remove from an internal casing glass of an instrument guard (E), a reflector (D) and the window panel (C).
3. Flat-nose pliers delay clamps (And) in points (In) the printed-circuit board of a combination and through openings (F) up, wring out outside of assembly of a speedometer (D) and a tachometer (E).
4. Delay a clamp in the center of the printed-circuit board up (C) combinations of devices and remove the printed-circuit board from a casing (G).


Combination of luminescent type

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The design of a combination of devices of luminescent type is presented on an illustration.
2. Turn out the screw (To), disunite contact sockets and remove an inverter (J) of a holodnokatodny fluorescent lamp (CFL).
3. Release a plait (I) electrical wiring of CFL from a flute in a back cover, release a latch (M) and remove from a casing (C) protective glass (F), a reflector (G) and the window panel (E).

4. Uncover the socket, having pulled for both edges, release clamps and disunite sockets of the flexible printed-circuit board of a combination of devices.

5. By means of nippers release clamps (N) on a back cover (And).
6. Through openings (About) push out outside of assembly of a speedometer (N) and a tachometer (D)
7. Release the central clamp and remove the printed-circuit board from a casing.


Replacement of lamps of a combination of devices

The scheme of an arrangement of lamps of a combination of devices is submitted on illustrations.

Assembly

Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.

Installation

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - track correctness of connection and reliability of fastening of contact sockets of an electrical wiring, make sure of serviceability of functioning of measuring instruments.

Check of a condition of components

Speedometer


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove from a combination of devices assembly of a speedometer with the fuel reserve measuring instrument (see above).

2. Measure resistance between SIN plugs (+) - SIN (-) and COS (+) - COS (-) of the contact socket of a speedometer. If the result of measurement exceeds the limit of range 208 ± 8 Ohms, replace assembly of a speedometer with the fuel reserve measuring instrument, otherwise the speedometer in an order and should be replaced the printed-circuit board of a combination of devices.

3. Installation is made upside-down.


Tachometer

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove from a combination of devices assembly of a tachometer with the engine temperature measuring instrument (see above).
2. Check is made by analogy with check of a speedometer.
3. Installation is made upside-down.


Fuel reserve measuring instrument

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove from a combination of devices assembly of a speedometer with the fuel reserve measuring instrument (see above).
2. Installation is made upside-down.


Engine temperature measuring instrument

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove from a combination of devices assembly of a tachometer with the engine temperature measuring instrument (see above).
2. Measure resistance between IGN-GND, IGN-UNIT and UNIT-GND plugs of the contact socket of the measuring instrument. Nominal rates make 208 ± 10 Ohms, 56 ± 10 Ohms and 264 ± 10 Ohms respectively. At negative results of check replace the measuring instrument assembled with a speedometer, otherwise replace the printed-circuit board.
3. Installation is made upside-down.


Sensor of temperature of external air

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

3. Disconnect an electrical wiring and remove the sensor of temperature of external air from the lower radiator panel.

4. Measure resistance between plugs of the contact socket of the sensor. If at a temperature of 25 °C the result of measurement differs from value of 1.7 kOhm, replace the sensor.
