Removal, check of a state and installation of components of the uniform lock

 The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.


Module of management of the uniform lock

Removal and installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove a ware box (see the Head Kuzov).

3. Give a fixing nut and, having disconnected an electrical wiring, remove the module of management of the uniform lock complete with the module of management of a tempostat.

4. Installation is made upside-down.


Battery of the transmitter of the DU panel of the uniform lock

 In order to avoid failure of the printed-circuit board of the transmitter previously make self-grounding, having undertaken a hand a metal element of any construction!


Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn out the fixing screw, uncover and take a DU panel transmitter battery from an ignition key head.


Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Measure tension between poles of the removed battery.

 In 3 seconds of measurement tension of an element falls more than till 1.8 Century.

 In order to avoid a battery discharge duration of measurement has to make no more than 5 seconds!

2. If the result of measurement makes less than 2 V, replace a battery.

 In 3 seconds of measurement tension of an element falls more than till 1.8 Century.


Registration of the new transmitter

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 On one car no more than three transmitters can be registered at the same time.

1. Remove a lateral overlay of a threshold of a driver's door (see the Head Kuzov) illustrations connect contact pair of the registration socket in the lower part of a forward rack.
2. Unblock the door lock.
3. Press the transmitter button twice, the door lock has to be blocked automatically, then again be unblocked that confirms a successful completion of registration of the first transmitter.
4. In case of need repeat procedure for registration of the second/third transmitter.
5. Having finished registration procedure, disunite contact pair of the registration socket and make sure of serviceability of functioning of again registered transmitters.
6. Establish into place the components which were removed for the purpose of ensuring access.


Activators of locks of forward doors

Removal and installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of a latch of the lock (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).

2. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the activator.

3. Installation is made upside-down. Make sure of serviceability of functioning of the activator.


Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the activator.

2. Connect the battery a positive pole to the plug No. 2 of the contact socket, and negative - to the plug No. 4, - the activator has to pass into the blocked state.

3. At change of polarity of connection of the battery the activator has to be unblocked.
4. The faulty activator is subject to replacement.

2. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the activator.

3. Installation is made upside-down. Make sure of serviceability of functioning of the activator.
