Check of serviceability of functioning of components and problem diagnostics of a tempostat Primary checksMake sure that the output tension of the onboard battery makes not less than 12 V, and electrolyte density - not less than 1.260 units. Cable of the drive of a butterfly valve Check correctness of laying of a driving cable of a tempostat and reliability of its fixing on the cam lever of the drive of a butterfly valve, - movement of the lever should not have any impact on a gas cable. Main switch of a tempostat Include ignition, transfer the switch to the situation ON (Vkl) and make sure of serviceability of operation of an indicator lamp of the switch. At transfer of the switch to the situation OFF (Vykl) the indicator lamp has to go out. Again include tempostat - the indicator lamp has to light up. Switch off, then again include ignition, - at ignition inclusion the indicator lamp has to remain in the extinguished situation (tempostat it is switched off). Trial runs Having come out to the low-loaded direct highway, accelerate the car to the speed of 40 km/h (25 miles/h) and transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation ON (Vkl). By means of the combined operating switch of a tempostat choose the SET/COAST mode. Make sure of serviceability of support by system of the chosen cruiser high-speed mode. Make sure that the car starts moving with acceleration at push-up of the combined operating switch to the situation RESUME/ACCEL and comes back to the cruiser speed of the movement at a switch otpuskaniye. When keeping the switch in the situation SET/COAST the car has to start making braking by the engine with return to the chosen cruiser speed at a switch otpuskaniye.
Make sure of serviceability of shutdown of a tempostat when squeezing a pedal of a foot brake, coupling (RKPP) and transfer of the managing director of the switch to the situation CANCEL. Tempostat does not support the cruiser high-speed mode Execute all listed primary checks. If elimination debugged does not lead to elimination of a problem, pass to performance of electric checks of signals of input-output, or make reading of diagnostic codes (see below). Actually maintained value of cruiser speed differs from the chosen Check serviceability of functioning of the actuation mechanism (see below). If it is not possible to reveal any violations, replace the module of management of a tempostat (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed). Reading of codes of malfunctions of a control system of speed
Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.
Reading is made by means of the firm Subaru (SSM) scanner. Diagnostics is made in two modes: mode of refusal and in real time. Detection of malfunctions in the first mode requires carrying out trial runs. The module of self-diagnostics of system will keep codes of the refusals happening during the movement. In case of identification more than two refusals, the corresponding codes will be highlighted by the scanner consistently (as numbering).
During check check of serviceability of a condition of a subsystem of entrance signals is in real time made. Check is made on the motionless car, the imitating signals are given on the corresponding components of a tempostat, results are fixed by means of the scanner. Mode of refusal of a tempostat Prepare the scanner, establish a cartridge. Connect SSM to the diagnostic DLC socket of the car under the dashboard at the left. Start the engine and transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" (Vkl).
In the main menu (Main Menu) choose the mode of expanded range of checks (All System Diagnosis), - confirm a choice with pressing of the YES key.
Accelerate the car to the speed not less than 32 km/h (20 miles/h) at the included mode of installation of cruiser speed of a tempostat (SET). At spontaneous shutdown of a tempostat on the display of the scanner the refusal code will be highlighted, - do not mix this code with the code corresponding to compulsory shutdown of a tempostat by the driver (see the list of codes of malfunctions in Specifications at the beginning of the Head). Further pass to the checks and corrections attached to the highlighted code (see below). Mode of real time Connect the scanner to the diagnostic DLC socket. Include ignition and transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" (Vkl). In the main menu (Main Menu) choose the mode {Each System Check} and press the YES key. In the screen menu {System Selection Menu} select item {Cruise Control}, - confirm a choice with pressing of the YES key. Further, switch in the mode of a conclusion and saving of the current data (Current Data Display & Save). Make sure of correctness of the data highlighted by the scanner: a) When squeezing a pedal of a foot brake there has to be a switching of provisions of the sensor switch of stoplights (ON/OFF); b) Switching of the SET/COAST switch has to bring to switchings of the modes of the switch (ON/OFF); c) Switching of the RESUME/ACCEL switch has to bring to switchings of the modes of the switch (ON/OFF); d) Squeezing of a pedal of coupling has to lead to switchings of provisions of the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter (ON/OFF); e) The AT selector lever conclusion from situation "P" / has to lead" N" to switchings of provisions of the sensor switch of permission of start (ON/OFF). Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat. Include ignition and measure tension between the plug No. 12 (+) of the B94 socket of the module of management and the mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check a condition of a safety lock No. 18 in the assembly block, and also make sure of lack of breaks and short circuits on a chain site between the module of management and the assembly block. Make necessary corrections. Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug No. 6 of the B94 socket and mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 Ohms, replace an electrical wiring plait. Main switch of a tempostat
Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the main switch of a tempostat. Include ignition and measure tension between the plug No. 3 of the i19 socket of the main switch and mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check a condition of a safety lock No. 18 in the assembly block, and also make sure of lack of breaks and short circuits on a chain site between the main switch and the assembly block. Make necessary corrections. Switch off ignition, disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management and measure resistance between No. No. 15 plugs (+), 1 (+) both 11 (+) of the B94 socket and No. No. 5 plugs (-), 6 (-) and 1 (-) (according to) the i19 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace an electrical wiring. Remove the main switch and check serviceability of its state (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed), in case of need make replacement. If the switch as it should be, replace the module of management of a tempostat. The combined operating switch of a tempostat
Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat. Measure tension between the plug No. 10 (+) of the B94 socket and weight at the switch lever which is released and transferred to the situation "SET/COAST". In the released position of the switch tension has to be absent, in working situation the result of measurement has to make more than 10 V, - at violation of these conditions the following two stages of check can be lowered. Measure tension between the plug No. 9 (+) of the B94 socket and the mass of the chassis at the switch lever which is released and transferred to the situation "RESUME/ACCEL". In the released position of the switch tension has to be absent, in working situation the result of measurement has to make more than 10 V, - at violation of these conditions the following stage of check can be lowered. Measure tension between No. No. 9 plugs (+) both 10 (+) of the B94 socket and the mass of the chassis at the switch lever which is released and transferred to the situation "CANCEL". In the released position of the switch tension has to be absent, in working situation the result of measurement has to make more than 10 V, - at violation of these conditions pass to the following stage of check. For check of serviceability of giving of food press the horn button, - if the horn functions normally, pass to the final stage of check, otherwise check a condition of a safety lock No. 6 in the main assembly block, the horn relay (see Specifications) and an electrical wiring on a chain site between the operating switch of a tempostat and the assembly block of safety locks/relay. Remove the operating switch and check serviceability of its state (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed), in case of need replace assembly of the switch. If the switch as it should be, replace the module of management. Sensors switches of stoplights and braking Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of sensors switches of stoplights/braking. Include ignition, transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" and measure tension between the plug No. 2 (+) of the sensor switch B65 socket (see in the same place) and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check a condition of a safety lock No. 18 in the assembly block, and also make sure of lack of signs of break or short circuit on a chain site between assembly of sensors switches and the assembly block.
Measure tension between the plug No. 1 (+) of the B65 socket and the mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of breaks and short circuits an electrical wiring on a chain site between assembly of sensors switches and TCM (model with AT) / check serviceability of a condition of a chain of the sensor switch of coupling (model with RKPP). Transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "OFF", disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat and measure resistance between No. No. 20 plugs (+) both 16 (+) of the B94 socket and No. No. 3 plugs (-) and 4 (-) (according to) the B65 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace an electrical wiring. Remove assembly of the sensor switch and check its state (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed). In case of need make replacement. The sensor switch of coupling/disconnection of a chain of a starter (model with RKPP)
Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the coupling sensor switch. Include ignition, transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" and measure tension between the plug No. 2 of the B107 socket (see in the same place) and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of breaks and short circuits an electrical wiring on a chain site between the sensor switch and the module of management of a tempostat. Switch off tempostat and ignition. Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of sensors switches of stoplights/braking and measure resistance between the plug No. 1 (+) of the B107 socket and the plug No. 1 (-) of the B65 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Remove the sensor switch and check its state (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed). In case of need make replacement. The sensor switch of permission of start (model with AT) Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch of permission of start. Include ignition, transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" and measure tension between the plug No. 12 (+) of the T7 socket (see in the same place) and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of breaks and short circuits an electrical wiring on a chain site between the sensor switch and the module of management of a tempostat.
Switch off tempostat and ignition. Disconnect an electrical wiring from a starter and measure resistance between the plug No. 7 (+) of the T7 socket and the plug No. 1 (-) of the B14 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Remove the sensor switch and check its state (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed). In case of need make replacement. Problem diagnostics of a tempostat Diagnostic codes 21, 24, 25 and 2A (the relay which is built in the module of management and the RAM of the central processor) Spontaneous shutdowns of a tempostat and refusal of preservation of value of the introduced high-speed regime belong to number of the symptoms characterizing listed in heading violation. Bad quality of welded connection of the management of the relay which is built in the module, and also refusals of random access memory (RAM) of the central processor (CPU) can be causes of infringement, - previously check signals of input-output of VSS by means of SSM (see above). Before replacing the module of management make sure of serviceability of giving on it of food and estimate quality of grounding of assembly. Include ignition and transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation ON (Vkl). Cock the parking brake. Transfer the scanner to the CURRENT DATA DISPLAY & SAVE mode. 53 Squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake, - the scanner has to record switchings of ON/OFF of the sensor switch of stoplights. If switchings are not fixed, pass to the following stage of check. Release a pedal of a foot brake and disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch of stoplights. Measure resistance between plugs No. No. 1 and 4 of the contact socket of the sensor. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace the sensor switch. Repeat the check described above at the squeezed-out pedal of a foot brake. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 megohm, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace the sensor switch. Release a pedal of a foot brake and measure resistance between plugs No. No. 2 and 3 of the contact socket of the sensor. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 megohm, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace the sensor switch. Repeat the check described above at the squeezed-out pedal of a foot brake. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, replace ECU of a tempostat, otherwise replace the sensor switch of stoplights. Diagnostic code 22 (VSS) Models with RKPP Include ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from VSS. Include ignition and measure tension between the plug No. 3 (+) of the B17 socket (see in the same place) and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of signs of break and short circuit an electrical wiring on a chain site between the relay of ignition and VSS.
Include ignition, disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat and measure resistance between the plug No. 1 of the B17 socket and the plug No. 19 of the B94 socket, - if the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Measure resistance between the plug No. 2 (+) of the B17 socket and the mass of the power unit, - if the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Connect an electrical wiring to VSS. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Start the engine and untwist wheels to the speed of 20 km/h (12 miles/h). Measure tension between the plug No. 19 (+) of the B94 socket and the mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement exceeds the limit of the range of 1 ÷ 4 V, replace the module of management of a tempostat, otherwise replace VSS. Models with AT Switch off ignition, disconnect an electrical wiring from TCM and the module of management of a tempostat. Measure resistance between the plug No. 19 of the B94 socket and the plug No. 17 of the B56 socket (see in the same place), for connection of an ohmmeter use the conical probe with a diameter less than 0.64 mm. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Connect an electrical wiring to TCM. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Start the engine and untwist wheels to the speed of 10 km/h (8 miles/h). Measure tension between the plug No. 17 (+) of the B56 socket and the mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement exceeds the limit of the range of 1 ÷ 4 V, replace the module of management of a tempostat, otherwise replace TCM. Diagnostic code 28 (break of an electrical wiring) Measure battery electrolyte density, - ate result of measurement makes more than 1.250 units, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise, make recharge. Check a condition of the main thing and other safety locks of a chain of a tempostat, also estimate a condition of a connecting electrical wiring and its contact sockets. Make sure of quality of grounding of components. In case of need make the corresponding recovery repair, replace the failed elements. Diagnostic codes 35 and 36 (servomotor of the actuation mechanism) Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the actuation mechanism. Include ignition, transfer the main switch of a tempostat to the situation "ON" and measure tension between the plug No. 4 (+) of the B7 socket (see in the same place) and the mass of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise check for existence of signs of break or short circuit an electrical wiring on a chain site between the module of management and the actuation mechanism.
Switch off tempostat and ignition and measure resistance between the plug No. 6 (+) of the B7 socket and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Measure resistance between the plug No. 4 and plugs No. No. 1, 2 and 5 of the contact socket of the actuation mechanism, - if the result of measurement makes about 5 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace assembly of the actuation mechanism. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat and measure resistance between the plug No. 1 of the B7 socket and the plug No. 7 of the B94 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the final stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Measure resistance between the plug No. 5 of the B7 socket and the plug No. 5 of the B94 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, replace the module of management of a tempostat, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Diagnostic code 37 (coupling of coupling of the servomotor) Measure resistance between plugs No. No. 3 and 6 of the socket of the actuation mechanism. If the result of measurement makes about 39 Ohms, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace assembly of the actuation mechanism. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of management of a tempostat and measure resistance between the plug No. 2 of the B7 socket and the plug No. 13 of the B94 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, pass to the final stage of check, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Measure resistance between the plug No. 3 of the B7 socket and the plug No. 14 of the B94 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohms, replace the module of management of a tempostat, otherwise repair an electrical wiring. Diagnostic code 38 (refusal of activation of the leading shaft of the servomotor) Switch off ignition, disconnect an electrical wiring from the actuation mechanism of a tempostat and remove assembly of the last from a basic arm (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of components of a control system of speed). Manually estimate a landing side play in assembly of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve, to the touch make sure of serviceability of gearing of reduktorny assembly of the actuation mechanism. In case of need replace the actuation mechanism. If assembly as it should be, check correctness of adjustment of a driving cable. Diagnostic code 39 (servomotor overload) Connect SSM to the car DLC socket (see above) and make trial runs of the car (see above), - if the working current of the servomotor of the actuation mechanism of a tempostat registered by the scanner exceeds 10 A, replace the module of management, otherwise check serviceability of giving of food (see above). |
