The left combined understeering switch

The left combined understeering switch is intended for management of functioning of indexes of turns and switching of the modes of functioning of headlights.
|

Removal and installation
|
|
|
1. The right combined understeering switch serves for management of functioning of cleaners and washers of glasses (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
3. Release the fixing screws which are pulling together the top and lower covers of a casing of a steering column. |
|
|
4. Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of the combined understeering switches, then turn out the fixing screw and remove the right understeering switch. |
5. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Check
|
|
|
|
1. Check correctness of distribution of conductivity between plugs of contact sockets of the switch in each of provisions of the last (see table 34). |
2. Replace the faulty switch.

The right combined understeering switch
The right combined understeering switch serves for management of functioning of cleaners and washers of glasses (see the Head Kuzov).
Removal and installation
|
|
|
1. Release the fixing screw and uncover a casing of a steering column.
|
|
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from assembly of the combined understeering switches, then turn out the fixing screw and remove the right understeering switch. |
3. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Check
|
|
|
|
1. Check correctness of distribution of conductivity between plugs of the contact socket of the switch in each of provisions of the last (see table 35). |
|
|
2. For check of serviceability of activation of the interval mode of a screen wiper transfer the switch lever to the relevant provision and establish pause duration on a maximum (see Chapter 11 and "Governing bodies and methods of operation"), then connect the battery between plugs No. No. 16 and 2 of the contact socket of the switch and measure tension between plugs No. No. 7 and 2 (take measurement after the second stop of screen wipers). Compare results of measurements to the card given on an illustration. |
3. Replace the faulty switch. |
