The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning)! It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation. |
The actuation mechanism with a driving cable
Removal and installation

|
|
Applying to a driving cable of excessive effort is fraught with damage of the actuation mechanism! |
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Release bandage tapes of fastening of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve of a tempostat.
|
|
3. Release a nut of fastening of a tip of a cable to a cam of the drive of a butterfly valve. |
|
|
4. Turn out fixing bolts, disconnect an electrical wiring and remove assembly of the actuation mechanism. |
5. Installation is made upside-down, - in summary do not forget to adjust a driving cable, track correctness of landing of the core of a cable in a flute of a cam and density of landing of a protective cover of a cover of a cable. |

Check
|
|
|
|
1. Check of serviceability of a condition of the actuation mechanism is made by measurement of resistance between plugs of its contact socket. Compare results of measurements to data in table 20. |
2. In case of receiving negative result of check replace assembly of the actuation mechanism. |

Module of management

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove a ware box (see the Head Kuzov).
|
|
3. Give a fixing nut, disconnect an electrical wiring and remove the module of management of a tempostat complete with the module of management of the uniform lock. |
4. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Main switch
Removal and installation
|
|
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Turn out screws and release clamps of fastening of the lower section of finishing of the dashboard.
3. Remove a forward cover of the central console.
4. Turn out fixing screws and remove the central (console) section of finishing of the dashboard.
|
|
5. Turn out fixing screws and release from the landing nest in the dashboard assembly of the radio receiver and panel of switches. |
6. Disconnect an electrical wiring and an antenna cable, then remove assembly of the control panel functioning of the heater/conditioner of air.
|
|
7. Turn out fixing screws, separate an arm and remove the panel of switches. |
|
|
8. Disconnect an electrical wiring and push out the main switch of a tempostat from assembly of the panel of switches. |
9. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Check
|
|
|
|
1. Check of serviceability of a condition of the main switch is made by measurement of resistance between plugs of its contact socket in both working provisions ("ON" and "OFF"). Compare results of measurements to data in table 21. |
2. In case of receiving negative result of check replace the switch. |

The combined operating switch

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Removal and installation

1. The combined operating switch is fixed on a steering wheel of the car.
2. Bring lobbies of a koyels of the car into rectilinear situation.
3. Make shutdown of SRS (see the Section System of Additional Safety (SRS) - the device and the principle of functioning).
4. Turn out lateral screws of fastening of the module of a driver's frontal safety cushion.
5. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring of SRS from the back party of the module of a safety cushion.

6. Remove the horn switch from a steering wheel. |
|
|
7. Disconnect an electrical wiring and remove the combined operating switch of a tempostat. |
8. Installation is made upside-down. |
|
Check
|
|
|
|
1. Check of serviceability of a condition of the operating switch is made by measurement of resistance between plugs of its contact socket in all working provisions. Compare results of measurements to data in table 22. |
2. In case of receiving negative result of check replace the switch. |

Assembly of sensors switches of stoplights/braking
Removal and installation

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring and remove assembly of sensors switches (see the Head Brake system).
3. Installation is made upside-down. |
