4. Check rods of drafts for existence of signs of deformations. Estimate smoothness of the course of the lever.
5. Installation is made upside-down.
6. In summary make sure of serviceability of functioning of the drive of the lock from the handle.

External handles of doors

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of a castle latch (see below).
2. Give fixing bolts / nuts and remove assembly of the external handle, - try not to bend the handle panel at removal.

3. Check a draft rod for existence of signs of deformations, estimate smoothness of the course of the lever.
4. Installation is made upside-down.
5. In summary make sure of serviceability of functioning of the drive of the lock from the handle.

Door of a back (Legacy Station wagon/Outback model)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the lower section of an internal upholstery of a door (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (the Station wagon models Legacy and Outback) and a cover of a luggage compartment (Sedan model)).

2. Remove a rod of draft of the drive of a castle latch, give a fixing nut and remove assembly of the external handle of a door.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery and an insulating overlay of a door (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (the Station wagon models Legacy and Outback) and a cover of a luggage compartment (Sedan model)).
3. Remove the internal handle of a door (see above).
4. Remove door glass (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of door glasses and components of window regulators).
5. Give three nuts and remove the back directing trench of glass (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of door glasses and components of window regulators).
