Forward screen wipers

Replacement of brushes

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take away the screen wiper lever from a windshield.

2. Having wrung out a lock uvula, remove a brush from the lever.

3. Having delayed outside a clamp, take a rubber working element from a brush frame.

4. Fill a new working element in a brush, - track that the clamp appeared from the party of a brush turned towards the lever. Make sure of reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of a clamp.

Removal, installation and adjustment of levers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Open a cowl.
2. Remove protective caps of fixing nuts.

3. Release nuts and remove levers.

4. Installation is made upside-down. Having finished installation, once activate screen wipers, then level levers so that average points of brushes appeared directly over ceramic adjusting tags on the windshield panel.

Removal and installation of components of the drive of screen wipers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The description of procedure of check of serviceability of functioning of a driving electric motor is provided in the Section Check of Serviceability of Functioning of Electric Motors of the Drive of Screen Wipers, removal, check and installation of the operating relay of a back screen wiper on the Legacy Station wagon/Outback models of the Head Onboard electric equipment.

1. Remove the panel of a forward fairing (see the Section Removal and installation of a forward fairing).
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from a driving electric motor.

3. Release fixing bolts and nuts and remove assembly of the drive of screen wipers.

4. In case of need give fixing bolts and nuts and remove a driving electric motor from assembly.

5. Installation is made upside-down.

Back screen wiper (Legacy Station wagon/Outback models)
