Subaru Legacy/Outback

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove the panel of an upholstery and an insulating overlay of a door (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (the Station wagon models Legacy and Outback) and a cover of a luggage compartment (Sedan model)).
3. Remove the window regulator regulator with a driving electric motor (see the Section Removal, installation and adjustment of door glasses and components of window regulators).
4. Remove assembly of a door latch (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).
5. Remove the external handle of a door (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).

6. Remove the lower panel of finishing of a forward rack (see the Section Removal and installation of elements of internal finishing) and disunite the contact socket of a connecting electrical wiring.

7. Prop up a door a jack, - for the purpose of prevention of damage of a paint and varnish covering between a head of a jack and the panel of a door it is necessary to lay wooden whetstone.

8. Release fixture of the limiter.

9. Turn out bolts of fastening of a door to loopy assemblies and accurately remove the door panel, - use the help of the assistant.

10. By means of a special key (ST 925610000) turn out fixing bolts and separate loopy assemblies from a body rack.

11. Installation is made upside-down, - the rubbing surfaces of loopy assemblies should be greased with jellied greasing. Track that all carving fixture was tightened with the demanded effort (see Specifications).

1. By means of a key of ST 925610000 release bolts of fastening of loopy assemblies to a body rack and make adjustment of position of the door panel in the longitudinal or vertical direction.
2. For updating of the provision of a first line of a door in the cross or vertical direction release bolts of fastening of the panel to loopy assemblies.

3. In case of need weaken screws of fastening of the drummer of the lock of a door and in accurate blows of a hammer correct its adjusting situation.  In order to avoid damage of a nut plate do not apply a shock key to an otpuskaniye of fixing screws at all! And — Fixing screws In — the Drummer

6. Remove a seat belt arm with a cap.

7. Prop up a door a jack, - for the purpose of prevention of damage of a paint and varnish covering between a head of a jack and the panel of a door it is necessary to lay wooden whetstone.
8. Release fixture of the limiter of the course of opening of a door.
9. Turn out bolts of fastening of a door to loopy assemblies and accurately remove the door panel, - use the help of the assistant.
10. By means of a special key (ST 925610000) turn out fixing bolts and separate loopy assemblies from a body rack.
11. Installation is made upside-down, - the rubbing surfaces of loopy assemblies should be greased with jellied greasing. Track that all carving fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.

1. Open a back door.
2. Remove the external handle of a door (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).
3. Remove assembly of a castle latch (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).
4. Remove panels of an internal upholstery of a door (see the Section Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (the Station wagon models Legacy and Outback) and a cover of a luggage compartment (Sedan model)).
5. Remove the door lock cylinder (see the Section Removal, installation and check of components of castle assemblies).
6. Remove door section of the back combined lamps (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).
7. Remove a back screen wiper (see the Section Removal, service and installation of screen wipers and components of a path of supply of the washing liquid).
8. Disunite contact sockets of an electrical wiring of the drive of a screen wiper, thermoelectric element of heating of back glass and back illuminants.
9. Disconnect a hose of supply of the washing liquid.

10. Remove a rubber protective sleeve and release from an opening through passage in the door panel the plait of an electrical wiring and a hose of giving washing liquids.

11. Reliably prop up a back door a suitable bar and turn out bolts of fastening of a gas-filled telescopic emphasis.  Telescopic emphasis is not subject to recovery repair and in case of failure is replaced assembled!

12. Release loopy bolts and remove door assembly, - use the help of the assistant.
13. Installation is made upside-down, - the rubbing surfaces of loopy assemblies should be greased with jellied greasing. Track that all carving fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.
14. Estimate uniformity of landing of a door in a body aperture, in case of need release loopy fixture and make the corresponding adjustment.

1. Open a cover of a luggage compartment.
2. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring.

3. Release fixing bolts and uncover loopy assemblies, - use the help of the assistant.

4. Installation is made upside-down. Track that fixing bolts were tightened with the demanded effort (14 Nanometers).

1. Open a cover of a luggage compartment.

2. By means of a stripper of ST 927780000 release the torsion draft from loopy assembly.  Be careful, - after removal of drafts the trunk lid can sharply slam!

3. Installation is made upside-down, - grease with jellied greasing the rubbing elements of loopy assemblies and the interfaced surfaces of the torsion drafts.
