1. Cast away a cover of the forward hatch in extreme top situation. 2. Remove the panel of switches of management of functioning of the electric drive of the hatch (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).

3. Turn out two fixing bolts, remove decorative caps and give two nuts of assembly of an otkidyvaniye of a cover.

4. Accurately uncover the hatch. |

1. Completely close a cover of the back hatch, on the contrary, open a sun-protection blind.

2. Remove decorative caps and give fixing nuts.

Installation
|

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - track correctness of landing of a cover. |

Adjustment
|

Release adjusting nuts of a cover and adjust height of provision of a cover by selection established between a cover and the panel of a roof of adjusting laying, - standard quantity of washers: one, maximum admissible: 2. |

|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 2. Remove a ceiling upholstery (see the Section Removal and installation of elements of internal finishing). 3. Remove a glass cover of the hatch (see above). 4. Disconnect a drainage tube from a frame.

5. Release clamps of fastening of a plait of an electrical wiring of the saloon lamp. |
|
6. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring, then uncover a driving electric motor. |
|
7. Remove forward and back arms of a frame.

8. Give fixing nuts and remove a frame. |

Forward hatch
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 2. Remove a ceiling upholstery (see the Section Removal and installation of elements of internal finishing). 3. Remove a glass cover of the hatch (see above). 4. Release clamps of fastening of a plait of an electrical wiring of the saloon lamp.

5. Give fixing bolts / nuts, release clamps and remove a frame of the forward hatch.

Give fixing bolts / nuts and remove a hatch frame. |

2. Release a sun-protection blind from a frame. |

1. Turn out screws of fastening of an arm of a driving electric motor. 2. Remove an emphasis of the directing runners, then remove assembly of a driving electric motor, having pulled it in the direction specified illustrations.
|
3. Release a sun-protection blind from a frame. |
|
|
Assembly
|
1. Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
|
2. Connect a dynamometer (enclose rags under a measuring instrument hook) to a sun-protection shutter of the hatch and measure the blind resistance to shift. If the result of measurement exceeds limit admissible value (24.5 ± 4.5 N), check correctness of installation of components and make necessary corrections.
|
Moving of a blind from a place can happen to a little big resistance therefore readings have to be taken in the course of shift. |
|
|
|
Installation
|
|
Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track reliability of fixing of the contact socket of an electrical wiring and density of landing of drainage tubes, - the tube has to stretch on the union not less than on 15 mm. |
|
|

Forward hatch
|
1. Completely close a hatch cover. 2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 3. Uncover the hatch (see above)
|
4. Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting tags on directing, - in case of need make the corresponding adjustment. |
5. Remove a ceiling upholstery (see the Section Removal and installation of elements of internal finishing). 6. Uncover an electric motor. 7. Disconnect an electrical wiring, turn out fixing screws and remove assembly of a driving electric motor.

Back hatch (Legacy Station wagon/Outback models)
|
1. Remove a lamp of illumination of a luggage compartment. 2. Remove back top hand-rail. 3. Remove the top slip, the main and top sections of the back lateral panel of finishing, and also the top cross panel of finishing. 4. Having accurately released the clamp lock, uncover and, having pushed in a pocket in a ceiling upholstery, release the main section of the central seat belt of a back seat equipped with a castle bracket from the opposite side. 5. Take clamps and unbend back edges of a ceiling upholstery down.

6. Disunite the contact socket of an electrical wiring and turn out fixing screws and remove assembly of a driving electric motor.

Do not rotate a shaft of the removed electric motor at all! |
