Removal and installation of the dashboard

The system of additional safety (SRS) is included in the standard package of all models of cars considered in the present manual. Before starting performance of any works near blocks of safety cushions, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving injuries at its casual operation (see the Head Onboard electric equipment)! It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

2. Remove the left lower section of finishing of the dashboard.

3. Turn out the fixing screw and remove the lower cover of a casing of a steering column (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).
4. Remove the main ware box (see the Section Removal installation of the main ware box).

5. Remove the lower lateral panels of finishing of the central console.

6. Remove the module of a passenger frontal safety cushion (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).

7. Remove the top panels of finishing of both forward racks.

8. Remove the lower panel of finishing of a forward rack (an overlay of a threshold) from the passenger party of salon.

9. On hand-operated models functioning of systems of heating/air conditioning transfer the handle of a choice of temperature condition to extreme right situation (corresponding to the maximum intensity of heating of air), then disconnect a cable of the drive of the mixing gate from the lower part of assembly of a heater.

At installation try not to allow changes of position of the handle and driving draft.

10. Turn out bolts of fastening of the dashboard.

11. Previously having marked, disunite contact sockets of an electrical wiring and carefully take the dashboard from salon of the car.

At a rassoyedineniye of sockets do not pull for electrical wiring plaits at all!

12. Lay the removed assembly vertically on pair of wooden blocks, - try not to scratch a covering.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.

2. When landing the dashboard to the regular place track correctness of hit of three directing hooks in plugs of reciprocal openings through passage in the body panel. Try not to allow jammings of plaits of an electrical wiring, track reliability of fixing of contact sockets. The demanded size of effort of a tightening of fixing bolts makes 7 ± 1 Nanometer.
