1. The H6 engine is supported by specially developed elastic support filled with liquid. Each support is rigidly attached to the engine in three points. Support are capable to reduce effectively the level of vibrations and noise thanks to existence of the membrane established between two chambers filled with liquid. The similar design allows to reduce the springing support constant.
2. The design and details of installation of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit are shown on an illustration.
3. Remove the power unit (see the Section Removal of the Power Unit from the Car - methods of performance and a precautionary measure).
4. Remove support from the unit and attentively check rubber pillows for existence of signs of aging of material, deformations, cracks and other mechanical damages.
5. Installation is made upside-down. |
