Removal and installation of heads of cylinders
REMOVAL
Preparation for installation
|
1. Carefully smooth out and dry wipe the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders. For removal of all traces of material of old laying and a deposit use a firm plastic or wooden scraper. Smooth out also the bottoms of pistons. Be extremely careful, - the surfaces made of soft metal can be damaged easily. Remember that dirt should not get to maslotok, water galleries and carving openings, - a zakuporta all open channels suitable traffic jams, or close up with an adhesive tape. For the purpose of prevention of hit of a deposit in gaps between pistons and cylinders, fill the last dense greasing which upon completion of procedure of cleaning will be easy to be removed with a rigid brush. Upon completion of cleaning wipe all surfaces pure dry rags. 2. Survey the interfaced surfaces of a head and the block on existence of deep scratches, cracks, cavities and other damages. Insignificant defects can be eliminated by means of a file with small tooth, in more serious cases the head should be given to a pro-point, or to replace. 3. Make sure of purity and dryness of carving openings, - just in case blow them compressed air (it is possible to use the bicycle pump). Presence at deaf openings of traces of greasing can lead to destruction of the block at a tightening of bolts as a result of increase of hydraulic pressure. 4. By means of a steel ruler and the probe of lezviyny type check planeness of the interfaced head surface (see the Section Service of a Head of cylinders of the present Chapter). |

INSTALLATION
|
1. Having replaced sealing laying, establish a head of cylinders on the regular place on the block. 2. Grease carving parts of fixing bolts, persistent surfaces of their heads and a washer with motive oil.
|
3. Establish a head on the block of cylinders. Screw bolts and tighten them in strictly certain order, with effort of 20 Nanometers. Working in a former order, tighten fixture with effort of the second stage (50 Nanometers). |
4. In two steps release all bolts, turning everyone on 180 °, - act as it should be, the return to a fixture tightening order. 5. Tighten bolts in a former (normal) order with effort of 25 Nanometers, then hold on on 90 degrees. 6. At the final stage it is necessary to hold on bolts with (1) on (4) for 90, and with (5) on (8) - on 45 degrees. 7. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. |
