Removal, check of a state and installation of cogwheels of camshafts

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take off a V-shaped belt (see the Head Routine maintenance).
2. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see the Section Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft).
3. Remove a forward cover of the GRM drive (see the Section Removal and installation of forward covers of the GRM drive).
4. Remove assembly of a GRM belt (see the Section Removal and installation of a belt of the GRM drive, check of a condition of components).
5. Remove the sensor of provision of a camshaft (CMP) (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).

6. Having blocked the right camshaft by means of the special tool (ST 499207100), remove its cogwheel.

7. Having blocked the left camshaft by means of the special tool (ST 499207400), remove its cogwheel.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a gear surface of a wheel for existence of signs of wear and scratches.
2. Make sure of lack of a side play of landing of a wheel on a spline.
3. Estimate a condition risks of the CMP sensor on a cogwheel of the right camshaft, in case of need smooth out the corresponding site of a surface.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Do not mix cogwheels of the left and right camshafts in an installation time. The cogwheel of the right camshaft differs from a wheel of the left shaft in existence convex risks, used for monitoring of the CMP sensor.

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that fixing bolts were tightened with the demanded effort.
