Removal, service and installation of the oil pump
REMOVAL
DISMANTLING
|
|
The stopper of the reducing valve has to be weakened during removal of pump assembly from the engine. |
Turn out fixing screws and uncover the oil pump. Before extraction of rotors mark their situation from each other. |
|
ASSEMBLY
|
1. Check a condition of the case of pump assembly. Estimate degree of wear of an opening under a shaft, make sure of lack of violation of passability of oil channels, signs of wear of walls of a rotor chamber and other mechanical damages.
|
2. By means of a special mandrel of ST 499587100 put the NEW forward epiploon in pump assembly.
|
3. Oil external and internal rotors the motive. 4. Establish rotors in the former provisions according to the marking put in the course of dismantle. 5. Check a condition of components of the reducing valve (see the following subsection). 6. Establish components of the reducing valve. Screw a stopper and tighten it with the demanded effort (44 Nanometers). 7. Make check of working gaps of rotors (see the following subsection). 8. Establish a cover of the oil pump. Tighten fastening bolts with necessary effort. |

CHECK
|
|
1. Measure gap size between tops of teeths of rotors. Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace both rotors. |
|
2. Measure gap size between the forming surface of an external rotor and a wall of a rotor chamber. Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a rotor. |
|
3. Measure the size of an axial side play of an internal rotor. Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a rotor, or the assembly case. |
4. Estimate degree of wear of components of the reducing valve. Measure free and adjusting lengths of a valvate spring, and also effort of adjusting compression. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. Replace defective components. 5. Check epiploon edges for existence of deformations, hardenings, wear, etc. and replace it in case of need. |

INSTALLATION
|
1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to a removal order, taking into account the listed below moments.
|
2. Apply on the interfaced surface of pump assembly sealant like Three Bond 1215, - sealant is imposed from the inside of botovy openings. Establish the NEW sealing ring (A) (see in the same place). |
|
3. Moisten sealing sponges of an epiploon with motive oil. |
4. Be careful, - try not to damage an epiploon at installation of pump assembly. 5. Correctly develop pump assembly of rather cranked shaft (be guided on adjusting risk), then accurately fill it on the seat on the block, - track that sealing sponges of an epiploon did not hesitate.

6. Screw fixing bolts and tighten them with the demanded effort. |
