The size of a gap of the final valve is made on the car lifted over the earth. |
1. Bring the engine into the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder (see the Section Reduction of the Piston of the First Cylinder in situation VMT). 2. Release a nut and the screw of a yoke of the drive of the corresponding valve of the first cylinder and use the shchupovy measuring instrument of lezviyny type. 3. In case of need make the corresponding adjustment by rotation of the adjusting screw of a yoke, then tighten a yoke nut with the demanded effort.

Enter a probe edge parallel to a face surface of a core of the valve.

4. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. 5. Turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise for repeated reduction of the engine in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder and make sure of correctness of installation of a valvate gap, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see above). 6. Working in a similar manner, make adjustment of gaps of valves of the remained cylinders as 3 — 2 — 4, every time turning a cranked shaft on 90 ° clockwise for the purpose of reduction of the corresponding piston in the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression. |
