Check of a state, removal and installation of the compressor of system To/in

Details of installation of the K/V compressor

 The air conditioning system constantly is under a high pressure. Do not disconnect refrigerator lines at all and do not remove any components of system, previously without having executed a discharge of the last. The discharge of the air conditioning system has to be made by forces of the skilled expert in the conditions of a workshop of car service. At a rassoyedineniye of refrigerator lines surely put on goggles!

When replacing components of the air conditioning system the certain amount of replaceable refrigerator oil necessary for filling of volume of new knot will be required. Use only the oil good for the use in R-134a systems (attentively study a label on the container)!


 The K/V compressor is not among the components which are subject to recovery repair and in case of refusal has to be replaced together with a receiver dehumidifier.


Details of installation of the compressor are shown on an illustration.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of the probe of lezviyny type measure the size of a gap of the magnetic coupling of coupling of the compressor on all perimeter of a driving plate / pulley. The nominal rate makes 0.45 ± 0.15 mm.
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from the compressor, then connect the battery a positive pole to the plug No. 3 of the contact socket of assembly, and negative - to the compressor case. Make sure of serviceability of operation of the magnetic coupling. At negative results of check replace the compressor.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make central air discharge in the conditions of a specialized workshop.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
3. Remove an air inlet (see the Section Service of Components of an Inlet Air Path).

4. Disconnect hoses of high and low pressure from compressor assembly.

 Try not to lose sealing rings, at once after a detachment of hoses to a zakuporta their open ends suitable caps!

5. Take off a driving belt (see the Head Routine maintenance).
6. Remove the generator (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
7. Disconnect a compressor electrical wiring from a body plait.
8. Turn out bolts of fastening of a basic arm.

9. Release fixing bolts and remove compressor assembly from an arm.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Do not forget to replace sealing rings of nipple sockets, track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort. Make adjustment of effort of a tension of a belt of the drive of auxiliary units (see the Head Routine maintenance).
2. In summary make charging of system and its check on leaks in the conditions of a specialized workshop.
3. At installation of the new compressor, check oil level, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment. Calculation of volume of the coolant necessary for filling of volume of the new compressor is made as follows:

a) Merge refrigerator oil from the compressor removed from the car in measured capacity via the soaking-up union;
b) Subtract result of measurement from value of 160 ml;
c) The coolant volume received as a result of subtraction also should be filled in in the new compressor.
4. Start of the new compressor is made as follows:

a) Open deflectors of all air ducts on the dashboard and let's the engine work on single turns within five seconds;
b) Turn on the heater fan on the maximum speed;
c) Not less than for 2 minutes activate central air, at engine turns less than 1500 in a minute.
