Service of components of the drive of a butterfly valve

General information

Unlike the traditional scheme, on the considered models the cover of a cable of gas is fixed not in a partition of a motive compartment, and on an accelerator pedal arm. In a similar design big stability of compliance of movements of a butterfly valve to the size of the course of a driving cable is realized. Besides, such scheme allows to avoid the breakthroughs connected with deformations of a partition and violations in installation of pedal assembly at the returnable movement of a cable.

Removal of a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve and assembly of a pedal of an accelerator

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Give a lock-nut of fixing of hummock assembly on a pedal arm.
3. Release a cable from an arm.
4. Pass into a motive compartment and disconnect a cable tip from a cam of the drive of a butterfly valve, then release hummock assembly from a basic arm on the throttle case.
5. Release a cable from all other clamps located in a motive compartment.

 Try not to bend hummock assembly!

6. Remove the lower section of finishing of the dashboard with the contact socket of an electrical wiring which is built in in it.
7. On models with AT disconnect an electrical wiring from the sensor switch of activation of the kickdown mode.
8. On models remove a basic arm of assembly of pedals of coupling and a foot brake from RKPP (see the Head Brake system).

9. Turn out bolts of fastening of a pedal of an accelerator to a basic arm.

10. Release the plug of hummock assembly through passage from a partition of a motive compartment, - from salon of the car push the plug in a motive compartment.

11. Release a gas cable from a partition.

12. Having hooked a screw-driver with a flat sting, release the plug of fastening of a driving cable from the accelerator pedal lever.

13. Take a gas cable clamp from a basic arm of a pedal.

Service of pedal assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure that the size of a lateral side play of pedal assembly does not exceed the limit of admissible range. In case of need replace axial plugs and a lock ring.

2. Remove a lock ring and release pedal assembly from a basic arm.
3. Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - do not forget to grease axial and contact surfaces.

4. Check serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch of activation of the kickdown mode. If the sensor is faulty, or its plunger does not stop in the demanded situation, make its replacement.

Limit admissible value of size of a vystupaniye of the wrung-out plunger: 2 / 0 mm

Adjustment of a pedal of gas

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Manually estimate sizes of the free and working courses of a pedal of an accelerator. If results of measurements exceed the limit of admissible ranges, make the corresponding adjustment by rotation of a nut of fixing of hummock assembly on the throttle case.

2. On models with AT check the size of the course of a pedal leading to operation of the sensor switch of activation of the kickdown mode for compliance to the demanded values - try not to rotate the sensor switch. In case of need correct as appropriate position of the sensor switch on the pedal lever. Having finished adjustment, tighten the sensor switch with the demanded effort (12 Nanometers).
