1. Lines of a fuel path of a power supply system are laid between a gasoline tank and a motive compartment of the car. Steel tubes and flexible fuel hoses fasten to the car bottom by means of clips and screw fixture. Every time when the car rises over the earth with any purpose (for example, for survey or replacement of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases), try to take an opportunity and to check a condition of fuel lines and their nipple connections. 2. Attentively examine all hoses and tubes of a fuel path on existence of cracks, twisting, deformations and other mechanical damages. 3. At identification of signs of internal pollution or violation of passability the corresponding section of a fuel path needs to be removed and blown compressed air. 4. Make sure of reliability of a tightening of all nipple connections of hoses and metal tubes of a fuel path. |
Steel tubes
1. Use only high-strength steel tubes of production of the manufacturers who proved in the automobile market as replaceable sections. 2. Remember that copper and aluminum tubes are not capable to sustain the vibration loadings arising in use the car. 3. Do not forget that fuel lines on the models equipped with system of injection have to maintain high internal pressure. 4. Often in firm shops of automobile accessories it is possible to get the sections of metal tubes equipped with carving nipple nozzles. During the easing and a tightening of nipple connections use two wrenches to avoid a provorachivaniye of reciprocal part of the socket. Without fail check a condition of the nipple connections of sealing rings used for sealing. At once replace the worn-out or mechanically damaged rings. Try to use only firm details as replaceable components. |
Flexible hoses
When replacing fuel hoses use only firm components calculated on high internal pressure! |
Flexible fuel hoses have to be laid not closer than in 10 cm from components of system of production of the fulfilled gases and are not closer than in 25 cm from the catalytic converter. Watch that fuel lines did not adjoin to body elements and components of a suspension bracket. The minimum admissible size of a gap makes 6.3 mm. |

Replacement
1. The general scheme of laying of fuel lines is shown on sopr. illustrations.
2. Tire out the car on the elevator. 3. Dump pressure in a power supply system (see the Section Dropping Pressure in a power supply system). 4. Open the hatch of access to a jellied mouth of a fuel tank and uncover mouths. 5. Unbend a carpet. 6. Remove tubes and lines of lines of giving and return of fuel, and also lines of fuel evaporations. 7. Make a detachment of fuel/vaporizing lines in a motive compartment.
8. Lift al on the elevator.
9. Disconnect a hose (And) from the double-thread valve and a hose (In) from a tube of the vaporizing line – two distinct clicks have to be distributed. |
10. Wipe and disunite sockets of fast joining of lines of giving and return of fuel: Holding the socket (And), wring out a clamp down (In), then, having pulled, release a tube (C) with the clamp which is put on it from the socket case. Remove a clamp and wipe the sealing end of a tube (D). Check a condition of components, in case of need make replacement.
And — the Socket In — the Clamp With — the Tube D — the Sealing surface
11. Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the listed below moments.
12. At connection of fuel tubes fill the NEW clamp (In) in the socket of fast joining (And), then against the stop push a tube of the fuel line in assembly, - track that both uvulas of a clamp got to reception nests of the socket. Having pulled for tubes, make sure of reliability of a joint. |
13. Generally at connection to fuel tubes of hoses the overlap has to make not less than 20 ÷ 25 mm.
1 — the Nipple termination of a tube 2 — the Collar 3 — the Hose l: 2.5 ± 1.5 mm L: 22.5 ± 2.5 mm |
14. The scheme of fixing on the unions of hoses of vaporizing lines is shown on an illustration.

Repair
In case of damage of the metal or flexible fuel line the failed section should be replaced only with a firm replaceable element of the corresponding standard size. |
