 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 At assembly each piston has to be installed strictly in the cylinder! Remove oil from backs of inserts of radical bearings and surfaces of beds of bearings in semi-blocks, oil motive radical necks of a cranked shaft.


1. Install a cranked shaft in the semi-block of the 2/4th of cylinders.

2. Grease the interfaced semi-block 1/3 surfaces with sealant like Three Bond 1215 and press it to the semi-block 2/4. Attention: Do not allow hit of sealant in flutes under installation of sealing rings, oil channels, flutes of bearings, etc.

3. Working in ascending order of serial numbers, temporarily tighten 10-millimetric coupling bolts of semi-blocks. Then finally tighten them in the same order with the demanded effort (47 Nanometers).

4. Working in ascending order of serial numbers, tighten with the demanded efforts (with 1 on 7: 25 Nanometers; 8: 6.4 Nanometer) 8 mm and 6-mm coupling bolts of semi-blocks of cylinders.

5. By means of special ST1 499597100 and ST2 499587200 adaptations establish a back epiploon of a cranked shaft.

6. Establish piston rings and spring lock rings of piston fingers (see the Section Dismantling of the Block of Cylinders).
7. Details of installation of pistons are shown on sopr. illustrations.
8. Deploy the block cylinders No. No. 1 and 2 up and by means of a special key (ST1 4999875200) turn a cranked shaft so that rods of the 1st and 2nd cylinders appeared in provisions NMT.

9. Oil motive surfaces of pistons and cylinders and by means of a mandrel for a staving of rings of ST2 498747100 (model of 2.0 l) / fill with ST 498747300 (model of 2.5 l) pistons in cylinders.

10. By means of the special ST3 499017100 tool which is previously oiled motive through a service opening fill a piston finger in landing openings of shatunny assembly, then establish a spring lock ring.

11. Grease with sealant a stopper of a service opening and establish it together with the NEW sealing washer.
12. Deploy the block cylinders No. No. 3 and 4 up and make installation of the remained pistons.
13. Establish a branch pipe of a path of the cooling system.
14. Establish a deflektorny plate and fix it with the demanded effort (6.4 Nanometers).
15. Establish a maslozabornik and the pallet of a case (see the Section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case and maslozabornik).
16. Apply sealant on the interfaced surface of an oil separator and establish the last.
17. Establish assembly of a flywheel / a driving disk (see the Section Removal, check of a state and installation of a flywheel / a driving disk).
18. Establish coupling assembly (see the Head Stsepleniye).
19. Establish a new forward epiploon of the oil pump.
20. Establish on the engine assembly of the oil pump (see the Section Removal, service and installation of the oil pump).
21. Install the water pump (see the Head of the Cooling system, heating).
22. By means of the special ST 498547000 adaptation establish an oil filter.
23. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components (see the Section Service of a Head of Cylinders).


6-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Working at the ST 18232AA000 stand, install in the beds in semi-blocks inserts of radical bearings of a cranked shaft.
2. Install a cranked shaft and rods in the semi-block of the 2/4/6th of cylinders.
3. Impose a sealant pillow diameter of section 1.0 ± 0.2 mm on the interfaced surface of the semi-block 1/3/5 and press it to the semi-block 2/4/6, - try not to allow hits of sealant in adjusting flutes of sealing rings, maslotok, etc.

4. Working in strictly certain order, tighten coupling bolts of semi-blocks with the demanded effort, previously having oiled their carving. Then repeat procedure of a tightening, having held on each bolt 90 more є.

5. Screw the top bolts of the block of cylinders and tighten them with the demanded effort (25 Nanometers).

6. By means of special ST1 499597100 and ST2 499587200 adaptations establish a back epiploon.
7. Put piston rings and spring ring locks (see the Section Dismantling of the Block of Cylinders).

8. By means of a special key (ST 18252AA000) turn a cranked shaft so that the top heads of rods of the 3rd and 4th cylinders and were combined with service openings.

9. Oil motive surfaces of pistons and cylinders, arrange pistons marking on the engine forward, then by means of a special blooming mandrel of ST 18254AA000 enter them into cylinders.
10. By means of the special ST 18253AA000 tool which is previously oiled motive fill piston fingers through service openings, then establish NEW spring lock rings.
11. Working in an illogical manner, install the remained pistons.
12. Establish traffic jams and a cover of service openings.

13. Apply sealant on the interfaced surface of the top section of the pallet of a case (from the inside of bolted openings) and establish sealing rings.

14. Screw bolts of fastening of the top section of the pallet of a case and, working strictly in a certain order, tighten them, at first it is temporary, then with the demanded effort (18 Nanometers).
