DISMANTLING

4-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of shatunno-piston assemblies of 4-cylinder engines are presented on an illustration.
2. Uncover the lower head of a rod.
3. Take inserts of the shatunny bearing.

 At assembly all components have to be established strictly on the former places!

4. By means of a special dilator remove compression rings from pistons.
5. Manually remove an oil scraper ring.
6. Remove a spring lock ring of a piston finger.


6-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of shatunno-piston assemblies of 6-cylinder engines are presented on an illustration.
2. Dismantling is made as it should be, similar described above for 4-cylinder engines.

ASSEMBLY

4-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having oiled motive, establish on the former places in the lower heads of rods and their cover inserts of shatunny bearings.
2. Put rods on necks of a cranked shaft (everyone on former), - track that rods were developed by marking forward.
3. Establish covers of the lower heads of rods (shooters forward) and record them nuts, previously having oiled a carving.
4. Manually put in the lower flutes of pistons at first a dilator, then the lower and top working sections of oil scraper rings.
5. By means of a special dilator put the second and top compression rings in the flutes.


6-cylinder engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Having oiled motive, establish on the former places in the lower heads of rods and their cover inserts of shatunny bearings.
2. Put rods on necks of a cranked shaft (everyone on former), - track that rods were developed by marking forward.
3. Establish covers of the lower heads of rods (everyone on the rod, - be guided on digital marking) and record them nuts, previously having oiled a carving.
4. Manually put in the lower flutes of pistons at first a dilator, then the lower and top working sections of oil scraper rings.
5. Consistently establish by hands a divider, the lower and top strips of an oil scraper ring.

6. By means of a special dilator put the second and top compression rings in the flutes. Develop the top ring in one of the provisions specified illustrations (And) or (In), develop the second ring the lock to the opposite side (under 180 °).

7. Develop the top working section of an oil scraper ring the lock in one of the provisions (C) or (D) specified illustrations. Develop a dilator of a ring the lock in an opposite direction (under 180 °). Develop the lower working section of a ring the lock in situation (E) or (F).

8. Put NEW spring lock rings in openings in pistons with opposite to service openings in the block of the parties.

 Pistons have to be deployed by adjusting tags (A) on the bottoms on the engine forward.
