REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove forward wheels.
3. To Raschekanta a stupichny nut, also give it a face key at the squeezed-out pedal of a foot brake. Attention: In order to avoid damage of bearings after removal of a wheel the stupichny nut should be weakened and again to tighten!
4. Disconnect a rack of the stabilizer of cross stability from the lower lever of a suspension bracket (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).
5. Disconnect the suspension bracket lever from a rotary fist (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).

6. Take the sprung pin of fastening of a shaft of transmission to the internal CV JOINT of a power shaft.

 The pin is subject to replacement without fail!

7. Remove assembly of a forward power shaft, in case of need use a stripper of ST1 926470000 and a mandrel of ST2 927140000, - try not to damage sealing sponges of an epiploon and a rotor of the wheel ABS sensor (see the Section Removal and installation of rotary fists, service of stupichny assemblies of forward wheels).

DISMANTLING

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Mark the adjusting provision of an external holder of the internal CV JOINT of rather power shaft.
2. Release fixing collars and remove a protective cover from a holder of the internal CV JOINT, - try not to damage covers.
3. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove a spring lock ring of fastening of an external holder of the internal CV JOINT.
4. Remove an external holder of the internal CV JOINT from assembly of a power shaft and remove greasing traces.

5. Mark the adjusting provision of free rings of rather face cuts of tripodny assembly of the internal CV JOINT.

6. Remove free rings.

7. Mark the adjusting provision of tripodny assembly of rather face cut of a power shaft.

8. Remove a lock ring and tripodny assembly.

9. Remove a protective cover of the internal CV JOINT from a shaft.
10. Clamp a power shaft in a vice with soft sponges.
11. Raschekante locks of bandage tapes of fastening of a protective cover of the external CV JOINT.
12. Cut and remove a cover, - it is subject to replacement without fail.
13. The external CV JOINT is not subject to dismantle and dismantling and in case of failure is replaced together with shaft.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the removed components for existence of signs of excessive wear, development of corrosion and mechanical damages. Replace defective details.
2. Check hinges of double compensation for existence of signs of jamming, estimate the size of their side play.

3. Examine a power shaft on existence of signs of a bend and twisting, and also on existence of damages and wear. Measure diameter of a shaft. The nominal rate makes 28 mm (for models of 2.5 l)/26 mm (for other models).

4. Estimate a condition of protective covers of internal hinges, check a greasing consistence.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 For greasing of components of the external end of a power shaft it is necessary to use NTG2218 greasing (No. 28093AA000), and for greasing of components of the internal end - SSG6003 greasing (No. 28093TA000).

1. Establish a new protective cover of the external CV JOINT and fix it on a shaft a small bandage tape.
2. Clamp a power shaft in a vice with soft sponges.
3. Evenly grease the external CV JOINT with NTG2218 greasing (60 ÷ 70 g).
4. Evenly smear 20 more ÷ 30 g of greasing on an internal surface of a protective cover. Grease also power shaft.

 The inside of the bigger end of a protective cover of the external CV JOINT and landing flute on the case of the hinge have to be free from greasing and other substances!

5. Put a protruding edge of a cover in a reception flute, and fix a cover on the hinge a bandage tape of bigger length.
6. Fill the internal end of a cover in a reception flute on a body of a power shaft and fix a small bandage tape.
7. Tighten bandage tapes with the demanded effort by means of special nippers of ST 28099AC000, a nozzle with the flexible handle and a dinamometrichesky key.
8. Put on a shaft a protective cover internal the CV JOINT. Shift a cover closer to the center of a shaft.
9. Having tracked correctness of combination of adjusting tags, put tripodny assembly on a shaft and record it a lock ring, - track reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of a ring in a reception flute.
10. Fill 100 ÷ 130 g of SSG6003 greasing in an external holder of the internal CV JOINT.
11. Grease with the same greasing free rings and tripodny assembly.
12. Having tracked correctness of combination of adjusting tags, put on the former places on tripodny assembly free rings.
13. Having tracked correctness of combination of adjusting tags, put an external holder of the hinge on a shaft.
14. Fix a holder a spring lock ring, having tracked reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of the last in a reception flute.
15. Evenly smear 30 more ÷ 40 g of greasing on an internal surface of a protective cover. Grease also power shaft.

 The inside of the bigger end of a protective cover of the internal CV JOINT and landing flute on the case of the hinge have to be free from greasing and other substances!

16. Put a protective cover of the internal CV JOINT on the CV JOINT, - try not to allow rubber twisting.

 At installation of a cover the CV JOINT has to be in neutral situation.

17. Record a cover new collars, - for a tightening of locks use the ST 925091000 adaptation. In summary fuller collars a center punch and cut off the free ends.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At the beginning of installation by means of a mandrel of ST1 922431000 and a nozzle of ST2 927390000 enter a shlitsevy pin of the external hinge into gearing with a wheel nave, - try not to damage sealing sponges of an internal epiploon and a rotor of the wheel ABS sensor.

 At installation do not knock on a power shaft a hammer!

2. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.
