Removal and installation of rotary fists, service of stupichny assemblies of forward wheels
REMOVAL
|
1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. 2. The car also establish to Poddomkratta it on props. Remove forward wheels. 3. A stupichny nut also turn out Raschekanta it a face key.
|
In order to avoid damage of bearings after removal of a wheel the stupichny nut should be weakened and again to tighten! |
4. Remove a rack of the stabilizer of cross stability (see the Head Podvesk and a steering). 5. Remove a support of the brake mechanism and tie up it a wire to suspension bracket elements, without disconnecting hydraulic lines (see the Head Brake system). 6. Remove a brake disk (see the Head Brake system). 7. Release a tip of steering draft from assembly of a rotary fist (see the Head Podvesk and a steering). 8. Remove the wheel ABS sensor together with an electrical wiring (see the Head Brake system). 9. Release from a rotary fist a spherical support of the lower lever of a suspension bracket (see the Head Podvesk and a steering). 10. Separate the internal CV JOINT from a transmission spindle.

11. Release a pin of a power shaft from a rotary fist, in case of need use special ST 926470000 adaptations (stripper) and ST 927140000 (mandrel).

Try not to damage sealing sponges of an epiploon and a rotor of the wheel ABS sensor! |
|
When replacing a forward power shaft the internal epiploon also should be replaced. |
|
|
12. Mark with Chertilka the provision of a head of a razvalny bolt, then turn out fixing bolts and separate assembly of a rotary fist from a suspension bracket rack. |
|
|
Dismantling and assembly
|
|
1. Establish ST1 927060000 stripper on assembly of a rotary fist with a nave, then establish on a rotary fist the holder of ST2 927080000 and squeeze out a nave. |
2. If the internal holder of the bearing remained in a nave, take it by means of the suitable tool (ask in shops of automobile accessories), - try to scratch the polished part of a nave.

At assembly the internal holder of the bearing has to be established strictly in a former nave! |

3. Remove a brake board from a rotary fist. |
4. Hooking a screw-driver, remove internal and external epiploons.
|
The removed epiploons are subject to replacement without fail! |
|
5. By means of a screw-driver with a flat sting take a spring lock ring from assembly of a rotary fist. |
|
6. Establish a rotary fist on the holder of ST1 927400000 and, resting ST2 927100000 stripper against an internal holder, squeeze out an external holder of the bearing.
|
Do not remove a serviceable external holder. The removed external holder is subject to replacement on new assembled with an internal holder. |
|
7. By means of the stupichny holder of ST 927080000 and a hydraulic press release wheel bolts from a nave.
|
In order to avoid damage of a nave do not try to beat out bolts a hammer! |
|
8. Check the removed components for existence of damages, replace defective units.
|
Replacement of the damaged bearing is made assembled. |
|
9. Assembly is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort. 10. At installation of the bearing always rest against an external holder and do not remove the plastic lock from an internal holder. If the external holder was not removed, fill the bearing fresh greasing like SHELL 6459N. 11. At installation of an epiploon use ST 927410000 mandrel. Sealing sponges of an epiploon need to be greased with fresh SHELL 6459N or Auto Rex A greasing. 12. At installation of a nave on a rotary fist use ST 927120000 mandrel. |

INSTALLATION
|
1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - do not forget to make in case of need replacement of protective covers of hinges and to grease sealing sponges of an epiploon of transmission. Track reliability of landing of a lock ring, tighten All fixture with the demanded effort.

The cylindrical pin of fastening of the internal end of a shaft, as well as stupichny nut are subject to replacement without fail! |
2. Having finished installation, squeeze out a foot brake, tighten with the demanded effort (216 Nanometers) and fuller a stupichny nut, then establish to the place of a wheel and lower the car on the earth.

Lowering of the car on the earth at not tightened stupichny nut, as well as pulling of the last is interfaced to risk of damage of the bearing! |
