The flywheel, besides function of ensuring start of the engine, serves also for a torque transmission from a cranked shaft to a transmission. On the models which are let out for the markets of Europe and Australia the flywheel of two-section type consisting of two inertial disks and the spring insert placed between them is established. The engine torque from a cranked shaft is transferred at first to primary disk of a flywheel, and then to the spring insert providing smoothness of a torque transmission to a secondary disk. As a result the stabilized torque is transferred to primary shaft of transmission through a disk of coupling. On the models which are let out for the other countries of (USA) the flywheels of flexible type consisting of the leading disk, the strengthening insert and an inertial disk are used. Coupling On all models equipped with RKPP one-disk coupling of dry type with a diaphragm spring is used. The nave of the frictional (conducted) disk of coupling is equipped with the longitudinal vents entering gearing with vents of a pin of primary shaft of a transmission. Frictional and press disks of coupling keep in contact with each other due to the effort developed by a diaphragm spring of a press disk. Design of the coupling used on the models which are let out for the markets of Europe and Australia Design of the coupling used on the models which are let out for the other countries of (USA) Switching off of coupling is made in the hydraulic way. The drive of switching off consists of a pedal of the coupling equipped with the tank of the main hydraulic cylinder, connecting lines and the executive cylinder, making impact on the lever of switching off of coupling and vyzhimny the bearing. In case of need execute the corresponding adjustment, having added the demanded quantity is fresher than hydraulic liquid of the demanded grade, and attentively examine system on existence of signs of leaks. At a devastation of the tank of the main cylinder it is necessary to remove from a hydraulic path air traffic jams (see the Section Removal of Air from a hydraulic path of the drive of switching off of coupling), then to check serviceability of functioning of coupling; b) For an assessment of time of switching of coupling start the engine on normal turns of idling. Make sure that neutral transfer is included and release a coupling pedal. Now squeeze out a pedal of coupling and, having waited for some seconds, include a reverse gear. Switching should not be followed by the gnash and other extraneous noises with high degree of probability indicating to malfunction of the conducted disk or assembly of a basket of coupling; c) For check of completeness of switching off of coupling cock the parking brake and start the engine.
