Power shafts since both ends are equipped with the hinges of equal angular speeds (HEAS)
For a torque transmission from lateral gear wheels of forward differential of transmission assembly to driving wheels of the car forward power shafts serve.
Details of a joint of a power shaft with stupichny assembly of a forward wheel are shown on an illustration.
The internal ends of both power shafts are entered into gearing with transmission by means of the hinges of equal angular speeds (HEAS) with a working angular range of 25 °. On type internal CV JOINTS belong to tripodny vibration-absorbing hinges of free rotation. Unlike the external CV JOINTS which are rigidly fixed in naves of forward wheels, internal hinges have freedom of movement in the axial direction. External hinges differ in wide working angular range (to 47.5 °). In total hinges provide smoothness and uniformity of rotation of driving wheels with a minimum level of the transferred vibrations.
Naves of forward wheels are fixed in rotary fists by means of the unregulated conical roller bearings put with a pretightness. Shaft of external CV JOINTS are passed throughout naves and fixed by the chromeplated and stupichny nuts of color khaki.
The brake disks established outside, for simplification of service fasten to disks of wheels by means of wheel bolts.
