Removal, service, installation and adjustment of a pedal of coupling

The pedal of coupling is established on one arm with a pedal of a foot brake and influences the main cylinder by means of a pusher rod. Unlike models with the mechanical drive of coupling, in this design the returnable spring is applied. Besides, the pedal is equipped with the mechanism reducing initial effort of its squeezing and connected to a driving cable of the antiretractable device.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a steering column (see the Head Podvesk and a steering).
2. Disconnect an electrical wiring from sensors switches of fires of a backing and disconnection of a chain of a starter.
3. Remove spring clamps and take fingers of fastening of the lever to a pusher and an executive rod.
4. Give adjusting and lock nuts of the antiretractable device (see the Head Brake system).
5. Release a clip and disconnect a driving cable of the antiretractable device from the valve of deduction of pressure (PHV), - try not to damage a protective cover and the core of a cable.
6. Give nuts of fastening of the main cylinder (see the Section Removal, service and installation of components of the main cylinder of coupling).
7. Turn out fixing bolts / nuts and remove pedal assembly.

DISMANTLING

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter.
2. Remove lock rings, remove an auxiliary spring, a rod and the plug.
3. Take a pin and remove the lever.
4. Remove a pedal of coupling with axial plugs.
5. Remove an emphasis, lock and sealing rings and a rod of S, then remove a spring of S and the plug S.
6. Remove an emphasis from a coupling pedal.
7. Remove an overlay of a block of a pedal.

ASSEMBLY

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Temporarily fix the sensor switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter and other components on a basic arm of pedal assembly.
2. Carefully clean openings in both pedals and fill in them axial plugs, previously having greased the last.
3. Achieve the correct combination of openings in pedals, then connect a returnable spring of a brake pedal and establish auxiliary rods, a spring and the plug.
4. On the models equipped with the antiretractable device, connect the corresponding driving cable.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components, - replace the worn-out and failed details, track that all fixture was tightened with the demanded effort.
2. Measure the size of a lateral side play of a pedal of coupling when applying to a block of cross effort about 1 kgf. If the result of measurement exceeds limit admissible value (5.0 mm), replace axial plugs.
3. In summary adjust a coupling pedal (see below) and the antiretractable device (see the Head Brake system).

ADJUSTMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lock-nuts of the sensor switch of permission of start adjust a full speed of a pedal of coupling according to requirements of Specifications (130 ÷ 135 mm).

 Do not try to regulate the coupling pedal course by rotation actually of the sensor switch, - if it is not possible to achieve the demanded result by means of lock-nuts, carry out adjustment, rotating a pusher of the main cylinder. Having finished adjustment, tighten lock-nuts with the demanded effort (8 Nanometers: for nuts of the sensor switch, 10 Nanometers: for a pusher rod nut).

2. Turn a pusher of the main cylinder so that the fixing finger could be shifted at first to the left, then to the right, - the finger has to move freely.
3. 2-3 times having squeezed out a coupling pedal, check smoothness of its course, - in case of need pump over a hydraulic path (see the Section Removal of Air from a hydraulic path of the drive of switching off of coupling).
4. Once again measure the size of a full speed of a pedal, in case of need repeat adjustment.
5. Check freedom of movement of a finger of fastening of a pusher to a pedal, in case of need repeat adjustment.
6. Wring out the coupling switching off lever so that the rod of a pusher of the executive cylinder moved forward, - if liquid level in the tank of hydraulic liquid does not increase, and also if the pusher does not move forward, replace the main cylinder and repeat check.
7. If replacement of the cylinder does not lead to correction of a situation, follows repeat procedure of adjustment of a pedal.
8. Having finished adjustment, check the level of hydraulic liquid, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see the Section Check of Level and Replacement of Hydraulic Liquid of the Drive of Switching Off of Coupling).
