Removal and installation of a steering wheel

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Bring forward wheels into rectilinear situation.
3. Remove the safety cushion module (see the Head Onboard electric equipment).

4. Give a fixing nut and by means of a special stripper remove a steering wheel from a pin of a steering shaft, previously having marked its adjusting situation.

5. Check a steering wheel for existence of signs of deformations, estimate a condition of spokes. In case of need replace a steering wheel.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle, do not forget to make centering of a contact drum (see the Head Onboard electric equipment). The demanded effort of a tightening of a nut of fastening of a steering wheel makes 45 Nanometers.

 In order to avoid damage of the cable reel track correctness of hit of his directing finger in a reception opening in the lower part of a steering wheel. Pass sockets of an electrical wiring of the module of a safety cushion, horn and tempostat throughout a window in the lower part of a wheel!
