|
Check has to be made at a temperature of cooling liquid below 95 °C. |
2. Include To/in on the maximum refrigerating capacity and at the time of operation of the compressor measure tension on the plug No. 1 (+) of the F16 socket of the auxiliary fan (the second wire of the voltmeter ground on the mass of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the Step 19, otherwise execute check of the Step 21.

Step 20 (Check of a condition of a driving electric motor of the fan)
Connect the battery directly to the contact F16 socket of an electric motor (a positive pole to the plug No. 1, negative - to the plug No. 4). If the fan starts rotating, check a condition of the contact socket, otherwise replace an electric motor.
Step 21 (Check of serviceability of giving of food on the relay of 1 fan)
1. Switch off ignition and take the relay of 1 auxiliary fan from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. 2. Measure tension between the plug No. 23 (+) of the F28 socket and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, pass to the Step 22, otherwise execute check of the Step 23.
Step 22 (Check of serviceability of giving of food on the relay of 1 fan)

Step 23 (Check of a condition of the 30-ampere safety lock)
Take the corresponding 30-ampere safety lock from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Replace the fused safety lock. If safety locks as it should be, pass to the Step 24.
Step 24 (Check of serviceability of giving of food to plugs of the 30-ampere safety lock)
Measure tension between the plug No. 3 (+) of the F27 socket in the assembly block of the relay of system To/in and the mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 V, check a chain site between a safety lock and the relay of 1 auxiliary fan for break, otherwise check for break a chain site between a safety lock and the socket of the main assembly block.
Step 25 (Check of a safety lock 18)
Switch off ignition, take a safety lock No. 18 from the landing nest and visually estimate its condition. Replace the fused safety lock. If a safety lock as it should be, check for break a chain site between the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and the switch of ignition.
Step 26 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan)
Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs No. No. 23 and 24 of the relay. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 megohm, pass to the Step 27, otherwise replace the relay 1.
Step 27 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan)
Connect the battery to plugs No. No. 21 and 22 of the relay, then repeat check of the Step 26. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 28, otherwise replace the relay 1.
Step 28 (Check of a condition of an electrical wiring between plugs of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and the socket of a driving electric motor)
Measure resistance between the plug No. 1 of the F16 socket and the plug No. 24 of the F28 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 29, otherwise eliminate break of an electrical wiring.
Step 29 (Check of a condition of an electrical wiring between plugs of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and ECM)
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the module of engine management (ECM). 2. Measure resistance between the plug No. 22 of the F28 socket and the plug No. 28 of the B137 socket. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 30, otherwise eliminate break of an electrical wiring.
Step 30 (Quality check of contact connections)
Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electrical wiring connecting the auxiliary fan to ECM. Make necessary corrections. If an electrical wiring as it should be, ask for the help experts firm HUNDRED Subarus.
Step 31 (Check of a condition of an electrical wiring on a chain site between an electric motor of the fan and mass of the chassis)
1. Switch off ignition and disconnect an electrical wiring from the auxiliary fan of the cooling system. 2. Measure resistance between the plug No. 3 of the F16 socket and mass of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohms, pass to the Step 32, otherwise execute check of the Step 33.
Step 32 (Quality check of contact connections)
Visually estimate a condition of plugs of the contact socket of the fan. Make necessary corrections. If an electrical wiring as it should be, replace an electric motor.
Step 33 (Check of a condition of an electrical wiring on a chain site between the auxiliary fan and the relay of the fan)
Disunite the contact socket of the relay and measure resistance between the plug No. 3 the F16 socket of an electric motor and the plug No. 5 of the B253 socket of the relay. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 34, otherwise eliminate break of an electrical wiring.
Steps with 34 on 40
Further checks are similar to checks of Steps with 34 on 40 for the main fan of the cooling system (see above). |
|
Removal, service and installation
|
The order of performance of procedure is similar described above for the main fan of the cooling system adjusted for lack of need for a detachment of radiator hoses, and also removal of an overflow hose and a broad tank. Efforts of a tightening of fixture also correspond given above for the main fan. |
