Removal, check of a state and installation of spherical support

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Tire out the car on the elevator.
2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
3. Lift the car and remove forward wheels.

4. Take the forelock, give a koronchaty nut and release a shaft of a spherical finger of a support from the cross lever.

5. Turn out a coupling bolt of fastening of a spherical support in assembly of a rotary fist.

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a spherical support vertically on a firm horizontal surface by a shaft up, press a shaft with effort of 70 kgfs and measure the control length of L1.

2. Having pressed a support to a surface, with the same effort (70 kgfs) extend a shaft of a spherical finger outside and repeat control measurement (L2 size).
3. By subtraction of result of the first measurement from result of the second, determine the size of a free wheeling (an axial side play) of a spherical finger (S): S = L1 - L2.
4. If the side play of a finger exceeds the maximum admissible value (0.3 mm), the spherical support is subject to replacement.
5. At excessively low free wheeling of a finger visually estimate a condition of a boot of assembly of a spherical support. In case of identification of signs of damage of material of a boot replace a spherical support.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Fill a spherical support in assembly of a rotary fist and tighten a coupling bolt with the demanded effort (50 Nanometers).

Do not grease cone-shaped carving part of a bolt at all!

2. Pass a support shaft throughout an opening in the cross lever and tighten a koronchaty fixing nut with the demanded effort (39 Nanometers), - in case of need hold on a nut still within 60 ° for combination of an opening under landing of the forelock with the next groove in a nut border. Fill and part the forelock.
3. Establish to the place of a wheel and lower the car on the earth.
