System of an immobilization of the engine

For protection of the car against stealing and breaking do not leave keys in salon; before leaving check reliability of locking of doors and glasses; do not store information on numbers of keys in salon of the car.

The engine immobilization device can be included in the standard package of anticreeping system of some models (more simply - an immobilizator). The device serves for prevention of attempts of unauthorized start of the engine and is effective anticreeping remedy, protecting the car from stealing.

In a head of keys of the models equipped with system of an immobilization of the engine the microchip making shutdown of the anti-theft device immobilizing the engine is built in.

Damage of a microchip can lead to loss of possibility of implementation of start of the engine! Do not allow excessive heating of keys, do not leave them for a long time under the influence of direct sunshine; try not to drop keys and not to put on them heavy subjects; avoid moisture influence, accurately wipe the become wet set dry soft fabric.

No replaceable batteries to a microchip are provided, - at all do not make independent attempts to sort a key head!

The engine of the car equipped with an immobilizator can be started only by means of the ignition key equipped with the built-in microchip. In a microchip the special code is ciphered, and the anticreeping system makes blocking shutdown only in case of its identification. Attempt of start of the engine by means of any other key or a master key leads to shutdown of a chain of start of the engine.

The control lamp of an immobilizer is intended for the warning of potential car thieves of existence on the car of the relevant anticreeping system. The lamp starts blinking approximately in 60 seconds after the ignition key turn from the situation "ON" in the situation "ASS" or "LOCK", or directly after extraction of a key. Refusal of activation of a lamp testifies to malfunctions in system of an immobilization.

Unevenness of a blinking of a control lamp and failure of a protective safety lock of an electric chain of an immobilizator do not lead to refusal of system.

At ignition inclusion (the ignition key will turn in the situation "ON") the control lamp of system of an immobilization lights up for some seconds, then dies away. The blinking of the indicator says that the system did not identify a key code. In this case it is necessary to switch off ignition (a key - in the situation "LOCK"), to take out a key from the lock, then to repeat attempt.

There is a probability of neoknowledge system of a code of the key which is in the ignition lock if close are any other key with the built-in microchip. For reliable identification of a code we advise to keep each key in a separate sheaf.

If the system repeatedly refuses to identify a key code, address on Subaru car repair shop.

Do not make attempts to make any changes and additions to an immobilizator design. It can break normal functioning of electronic systems of the car and make it uncontrollable.

Production of duplicates of the keys equipped with the built-in microchip

Production of a twirl requires its identification number (see the Section Keys - the general information). Before use any new key has to be registered in system of an immobilization. Registration to four keys on one car is allowed.

For safety reasons at production of a new key codes of all other keys will be erased and re-registered. Therefore it is necessary to provide in a workshop all keys from the car.
